My partner and I were extremely impressed with the place from the moment we arrived. The place is pristine and the service is excellent - particularly the manager Jerome who was polite, efficient and extremely helpful. Within minutes of arrival he had us checked in, our cases taken to our room, the air-con switched on and a moped arranged. We had the single bedroom bungalow which had everything we needed, great air-con and was spotlessly clean. There was some minor construction and refurbishment going on, but this both began and ended at reasonable times and didn’t cause too much disturbance. The location is great, walking distance from Lamai beach but far enough to escape the noise. The pool is salt cleaned and extremely refreshing with a great view of the quiet cove, and the free kayaks were a lovely touch, as was the complementary coffee in the mornings which the staff were happy to deliver to our room. 100% recommend this place to travellers, couples or groups

4 star hotel and hostel near Lamai. ! A bit far from the main beach, but recommended for solo travelers. It is more expensive than other hostels, but the facilities, pool and private beach, paddle boat, rocking chair, etc. are worth the price.

The first thing I liked was that the hotel wrote to me in advance to clarify the time of my arrival at them. Very nice Upon arrival, the girls tidied up the room as quickly as possible. Clean, smells delicious! For me, this place is suitable for complete peace and relaxation from the activity of excursions and running around. Of course, you still need to walk to Lamai beach, but it’s better to get there. But the guys at the hotel will tell you everything and tell you everything.

Stunning resort on the beach. 5* accommodation very clean and beautiful sea views. The staff were very friendly and super helpful with anything we needed. A little way from the main resort but was lovely and quiet and some good restaurants within walking distance 100% recommend lovely stay

The beach front and pool area are lovely and felt very secluded. The common area where breakfast is offered has lovely views of the ocean. Jerome was an amazing manager who was eager to arrange anything we needed to make our stay as easy and relaxing as possible. We were very grateful for his assistance, local knowledge and lovely manner. We stayed in a double room which was basic but comfortable. We noted that there are also family rooms and a gorgeous looking villa for larger groups. the breakfasts and coffee were a great way to start the day and the drink & fruits on arrival were much appreciated.

One of the nicest places I have ever been. I went to Koh Samui Island twice and both times I stayed at The Rock. Very clean and their compound area is so beautiful. They have a nice private beach and pool which is 24/7 accessible. Anyone can easily have a whole relaxing day without stepping outside. Some nice local restaurants, good super shops, and Grandfather & Grandmother Rock viewpoint are within just 5-10 minutes walking distance. All the staff, specially Jerome is very nice and helpful. Before booking through any websites, ask them if they have available rooms, they may offer you better prices than other websites.

I needed a break from the hostel life and I couldn’t have picked a better place in Samui. I had the beach and pool to myself almost every day. The room was lovely. Convenient location. And Jerome went above and beyond to help me with anything I needed, from finding a scooter for me when a lot of shops were sold out (holiday weekend) to helping me book my ferry to arranging my laundry. He’s amazing, and so is this hotel!

Brilliant 14 night stay. The staff could not have been more helpful. Simple healthy breakfast as we enjoyed local fruits. Other meals were excellent all at very reasonable costs. The room overlooking the sea whilst basic was spotlessly clean with a modern efficient shower bathroom. There is a very good swimming pool and new facilities supporting the pool area were nearing completion. Highly recommended.
