Pontikonisi Hotel & Suites

The hotel was amazing. We had a Seaview room. Wow! Just stunning. It had everything we needed. The staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble. We arrived early hours of the morning and was greeted by Elana. She made us toasties, gave us a kettle for the room. She is incredibly kind, warm and friendly. Wish we stayed longer. The beach area was stunning with steps into the sea. Bliss

Hotel avec un mauvais emplacement, il faut impérativement une voiture ou le bus pour se déplacer, faire 1h30 de bus pour avoir une belle plage. L'hôtel est pas très propre... et vieux de plus il est très mal isolé et nous entendons tout dans les chambres (y compris les avions qui passent toutes les 10minutes) Nos verres n'ont pas été changé de la semaine le jus à collé dans le fond.... le rideau de douche est tout simplement à mettre à la poubelle.... Il y a des remontés d'égouts... Le frigo était sale... Et la "plage" de l'hôtel n'est pas une plage mais un bout de béton avec des transat au bord du port. Le lit est inconfortable et il y a des ressorts... Je ne suis pourtant pas difficile mais vraiment c'est chère pour ce que c'est. Les hôtesses d'accueil sont très gentilles. La piscine et le restaurant sont bien. Et l'avantage est que l'hôtel se trouve juste à côté de l'aéroport. Malheureusement je ne recommande pas l'hôtel..

The good points. The view from the hotel and the rooms is stunning. The pizza in the bar was good. Unfortunately that is it. The room we were given was not like any advertised on their website. It was very tired and run down. Frayed carpets, sockets which didn’t work and a bathroom you could hardly move in. There was also a smell of sewage which started to become noticeable on our first evening and by the following morning it was unbearable. Even with the bathroom door shut the bedroom stunk. We asked reception twice if we could change rooms or upgrade. Both times we were told they were fully booked. They sent someone to look at the sewage smell but all they did was spray air freshener in the room. We decided there was no way we could stay there and booked in to another hotel, of a lower star rating, at our own cost. The Pontikonisi are refusing to refund us for our room. They are saying we demanded to be upgraded for free and refused the offer of another room. This is an outright lie. We would not have spent over €300 on another hotel if this was the case. It’s very obvious this hotel has upgraded a handful of the rooms to a very high standard and these are the ones they advertise. I know all the other reviews speak highly of this hotel but be very careful when booking. Especially if using Love Holidays like we did.

Exceptional stay! Beautiful views, spacious and clean rooms, and friendly staff made our visit unforgettable. We were lucky enough to meet the owner, a great representative of Greek hospitality. Ideal location near Corfu’s highlights. Highly recommend for a relaxing and memorable experience!

Excellent hotel in great location.All rooms are facing the famous Ionian sea.Rich breakfast to fulfill different tastes.Staff was super friendly and ready to help in all guests demands.Pool was amazing,to relax and have a drink from the hotel’s snack bar.And of course the private beach that you can chill and enjoy the magnificent view of the Ionian sea.Highly recommend it

Breathtaking view, friendly staff, Exquisite and recently renovated room . After checking in I enter to a magnificent room which was facing the famous Pontikonisi island and the bay. Buffet had many options and all of them where delicious.I had a magnificent experience, definitely recommend it to people who wish to Visit Corfu island enjoy the beach while staying close to Corfu town.
