One of the best places we stayed in Provence! We were in a lovely Suite with our very own pool. The property is beautiful, quiet, clean and comfortable. We never felt "crowded" since they have a limited number of rooms. The spa services were very good and the spa itself, was very enjoyable. We eat once on the property at Le Café de la Fontaine, which was excellent! Highly recommend this place! If you have the time, be sure to stay there at least 3 or more days. You'll thank me later.

Great choice in Provence! We had an excellent experience. It's a beautiful hotel with an amazing view. Our room was quiet, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff was friendly. Delicious breakfast! Lovely grounds. We regret not staying longer.

This place is amazing, we highly recommend it. The food is out of this world, the service is excellent and friendly, the spa facilities are modern and the rooms are very comfortable. The views are beautiful. Rent an electric bike from the hotel and ask at reception where to go; you won’t be disappointed.

The whole experience was excellent. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The rooms are comfortable and tasteful. The staff is superb. The pool is great. I has a fabulous massage. The location is perfect for the Luberon. We have been to Provence many times and this was one of our best experiences.

While visiting friends in Avignon, we explored Provence and stayed at Le Phebus for 2 nights. It was a wonderful stay in a junior suite, complete with a small private pool. The room was spacious, well appointed and clean. Service was attentive but never intrusive. The grounds were lovely and the warm weather allowed me to enjoy the grounds and private pool. The stay took me to my happy place and I would enjoy returning for a longer stay.

This is a country hotel in a beautiful location, but the decor is in some ways more reminiscent of a chateau - quite a lot of (rather dated) black and gold in the communal areas. The pool area is stark (no proper landscaping around it, nor even pots), and the pool itself is a liner pool (wrinkled!) rather than a proper tiled one. Our bedroom was comfortable and spacious, but the fixtures and fittings, although perfectly pleasant, lacked originality and charm. All of this would be fine but I expect a bit more when paying 800 euros a night. Our large bathroom lacked a separate shower, and the toilet was bizarrely separated from the rest of the bathroom with a glass partition which afforded no privacy so seemed entirely pointless. The lilac tiles reminscent of the 20th century were another strange, presumably cost-conscious, choice. We ate at both restaurants. The flagship Michelin star is good, but not outstanding, in our opinion, given that it is a very expensive choice - but, in fairness, we did not have the tasting menu which was probably a mistake (we just weren't hungry enough). The bistro served a memorably delicious gazpacho. On the positive side, the staff were excellent - unfailingly helpful, polite, friendly and attentive. And the breakfasts are delicious. We particularly enjoyed them, taken on the outdoor terrace enjoying the beautiful view. But beware the room you choose. Ours was above a room with its own private pool. On our third night a family with 4 children occupied it and they jumped in and out of the pool until 11.30pm and again from 7.30pm. The noise was unbelievable. And not at all what you expect at a 5 star property,

This hotel promises a lot but its disjointed approach fails to deliver. The service was very inconsistence. It went from being warm and charming at the Front Desk to dismissive and rude with the waiters. We booked to eat at the Michelin Starred restaurant, La Table de Xavier Matthieu, but cancelled as a result of the terrible service we received from the waiters. On the other hand, the spa team are very warm, welcoming and professional.

Excellent experience in luxury & gourmet standards! Early check, beautiful & super quiet room! Friendly and accommodating staff. Superb food and wine selection as well as knowledgeable staff. Grounds immaculate. Safe storage for our bicycles. Would love to come back!

We were part of a big group that visited Le Phebus & Spa. Everything was ready for our group upon our arrival. They took care of us and made sure everything was coordinated for a wonderful experience. We all had a blast and hope to come back.

Our family of 5 had a great time. We were with a group of about 17. The location was awesome and the activities that they helped us plan were so fun! We did paragliding and had a fabulous spa day. Everyone in our group enjoyed their time here. Highly recommend!

Our stay started perfectly as we were greeted with a glass of Provence rosé on the terrace - a nice touch. This is a beautiful hotel in Provence. The views are stunning. The hotel is decorated well, with the aroma of fresh lavender in every room. Bedrooms are stunning, stone flooring, lovely large bathroom, we also had a gorgeous terrace where we enjoyed breakfast each morning. Continental breakfast includes delicious fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries, bread, cold meats, salmon, cheese. Fresh juice, tea and coffee. We stayed with our dog and found the hotel to be very accommodating. We enjoyed a great meal with delicious drinks at Cafe de la Fontaine. The swimming pool area is beautiful, plenty of sunbeds and covered areas. Upon checking out we had a surprise charge of €15 x 2 days for charging our hybrid car - we weren’t aware this was chargeable so this should be more clearly signposted. In all, a great stay. Staff are also very friendly and helpful. Thank you!

Our family spent 6 wonderful nights at Le Phebus in June 2023. The location is a wonderful base to explore Provence. I cant say enough great things about this Relais&Chateaux property. The high quality and finishes of the rooms and overall property buildings, the beautiful grounds and hotel amenities ( pool, spa etc.), outstanding food offerings, to the overall attentive staff, and special touches ( nice treats left nightly on bed turndown), were excellent. A special thanks to Audrey Bruneau, the Front Desk Manager for all her great assistance on making our stay the best it could be. I would highly recommend this property.
