Our double-bed room is interesting and big. The hardware is a tiny bit worn down but doesn’t affect our comfort. Service is good. The surrounding area is unbeatably wonderful. Amazing food, shopping, services… anything you might want. The architecture style and cultural attractions within short walking distance will keep you occupied for several days. One major boo boo was the breakfast. They gave us a coupon to eat a terrible breakfast (only fried bread and congee, no choices) at KFC. For how much we paid for the room, almost $80usd a night, I do expect a little better than that.

I experienced a total of three B&Bs in Quanzhou, and Xiyuan was the first one. In order to save time, after getting off the plane at Jinjiang Airport, I decided to visit Wulin and Wudian City before going to the ancient city of Quanzhou~. Then Xiyuan, located in Wudi City, is the most suitable. Hahaha, it can also take in the daytime and night views of the scenic spot. The B&B turned out to be an old house that had been relocated, and there were very few people there during the National Day holiday. I didn't expect that there were many hiccups in the middle, and the store solved them friendly and patiently, so I changed rooms three times in one night, really experiencing the old house all at once. I originally booked a loft, which was convenient for one person, but there were no handrails on the stairs, so I couldn’t get back down when I went up. I was really embarrassed. The store’s sister upgraded my room for me, which was very heartwarming. The only problem with the B&B is that the windows are old-fashioned and mosquitoes can easily get in, and the lighting is a bit dim, making it difficult to see clearly when packing luggage. There are a lot of public spaces, and I was still sitting on the balcony waiting for my takeout in the middle of the night~ The surrounding area of ​​Wudian City is very prosperous, including Shigu Temple (I got lost at night and went to Shigu Temple, where I encountered Gaojia Opera), and takeout is very convenient.

I originally planned to extend our stay, and the next day happened to coincide with the fifth anniversary of the store. For the event, the boss personally made special snacks and prepared beer to entertain every guest. It was perfect.

The house has a very old-fashioned decoration. There is also a tea maker and a small bar inside. The store manager and staff are very enthusiastic. Since it was my first time and I was not familiar with it, they also gave me tips. It was very warm and warm. Overall, it was a great experience. I highly recommend it.

To be honest, this B&B should be given a bad review. The air conditioning did not work for three nights in a row. The air conditioning unit was installed directly above the bed. It was noisy all night long. The soundproofing was so poor that I was woken up by people checking out next door every morning. , KFC breakfast is provided, but the store manager is good and the service is good. When the night shift guy responded to the problem, he said that it would be dealt with during the day.

It is very close to the two temples of Cai (more than a dozen Jinshi, one Wu Jinshi, five governors, Taizi Taibao...) and Zhuang (Zhuangyuan, Jinshi...). Wudianshi is a good place. Compared with Quanzhou, it is quieter, more unique and more delicate...

The architecture of the homestay is very characteristic of southern Fujian, and every corner inside is decorated with great care. There was a traffic jam on the way back from Luojia Temple, and the store owner kindly helped us to book a seat in the nearby Citong Courtyard, and we had a feast. Back in the courtyard, with the bright moonlight above our heads, we relaxed around the stove and made tea, which was very comfortable.
