The Golden Lion Hotel

Wonderful cozy hotel! Stayed here with my daughter. We had a double room, lovely and warm on a cold day. Had breakfast in restaurant which had a beautiful chris**as tree, and buffett type/ cooked breakfast was amazing and set us up for the day! Staff were polite and helpful when i asked for extra pillow it was delivered at my room within minutes. Will certainly book with them again, absolutely loved it!

I would like to personally thank Chloe who helped me on Saturday with my father, who is in a wheelchair, Chloe could see I was struggling and came out to help push my father up the hill and in to the bar area, young Chloe was extremely helpful, polite and smiley, just what I needed after pushing my father in his wheelchair in the heat and we were greeted at the bar by a lovely young blonde lady and young man that were extremely friendly. Please pass on our thanks and let Chloe know to keep up the great customer service and I very much appreciated her help. She is a credit to you. We shall definitely be back very soon.

Fantastic hotel all round, recently refurbished to a very high standard. Brilliant location, wonderful welcome and one of the best hotel rooms we have experienced which for us is a high bar. Food great and lovely lounges to enjoy the amazing view. Ideally located to visit the Princess Theatre. We will be booking for longer very soon.

Beautiful hotel with panoramic views over the Wash, built 1846, the oldest building in town! We called in for lunch and sat outside admiring the views. There is a large bar lounge area and restaurant, all very tastefully decorated. The food was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful, will definitely call again.

Incredible food, fabulous decor, amazing staff... whatever your doing...DO NOT CHANGE IT. 3rd time we've been since the refit, absolutely fabulous. Thank you, and keep up the great work. Everyone is super friendly, I just keep telling everyone about the food. Ps. The cod in lobster sauce is devine.

Just stayed the one night in Golden Lion hotel in Hunstanton and had an excellent experience all round. Hotel is recently refurbished to a very high standard with lovely modern bathrooms etc. Staff are all very friendly and a credit to the hotel. We will definitely be returning!

We popped in on a rainy day for a cup of tea with our Cockapoo. We were told she was very welcome and the three of us were taken through to the bar area. We ordered a pot of tea but unfortunately had just missed the breakfast menu. The owner was in the bar area at the time and accommodated our request. We ordered breakfast muffins which were delicious made with good quality produce. The ambience in the bar area is very relaxing with sofas, log fire and tables overlooking the sea and all staff are welcoming. Definitely worth a visit to stay at the hotel or pop in for a drink and cake from their menu.

Had a fantastic Sunday evening meal, before going to the princess theatre to watch a show. Having received a warm welcome from the duty manager “Charlie” the great service continued by all the waitresses. The Sunday roast was excellent, especially the generously served beef. The new owners have done a great job with the refurbishment, modern relaxed and welcoming. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back
