Hong Kong Wan Chai District Hotels

It is a very nice hotel, it is very convenient to transport anywhere you like in Hong Kong. It nearby has food outlets and shopping places. The great thing is it has a big bathtub to use. After big shopping and walking around in Hong Kong, I need a dip in a hot bath to relax. I will use this hotel again on the next Hong Kong trip. But don't expect there is a nice view from the window, around the hotel only has other commercial and residential buildings. The swimming pool has a lifeguard on duty. It is very safe to swim there.

Pros 1. Excellent location in Wan Chai with superb accessibility to trams, subway and public buses 2. Room is huge for HK hotel standard 3. Price is reasonable 4. Friendly staff 5. Room come with basic toiletries 6. Comfy bed and aircond is cold enough 7. Come with bathtub! Cons 1. An old hotel with dated design 2. No free bottle water! 3. No free toothbrush and toothpaste 4. Check out time is 11am 5. External window is dirty and couldn’t take any photo from inside 6. Aircond grille is dusty, not being clean regularly Overall, highly recommended if you are looking for comfortable stay as the room is really huge for HK hotel standard and very near to public transport. supermarket just across the road and many 7-11 and Circle K convenience stores around the hotel. Restaurants (non halal) also abundance.

Booked a quadruple room for a family of four and I would say it’s value for money for the amount we paid, which included a nice breakfast. Location is convenient, helped by the regular free shuttle buses which go to either Hong Kong station or to Causeway Bay. Rooms are small but comfortable and clean with the daily housekeeping. Breakfast is really busy during peak hours but the staff are extremely patient and friendly to ensure all guests have an enjoyable meal. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends or even to fellow Singaporeans, because we love good vale hotel deals!

Very professional n friendly counter especially the lady serving me on arrival 9/4 morning. Didn't catch her name. This is the fourth time I am staying in this hotel in the last 3 years. Will stay here again.

the room looked exactly like the one in the photos. they cleaned the room every day and we didn’t even notice until the third day of our stay because our personal items were untouched and only the beddings, towels, and trash cans were changed. i mention this because oftentimes hotel staff don’t enter the room unless you put out a sign to ask for cleaning or when they do enter there are risks of missing items — so i’m glad that the staff were very professional in this sense because it was nice to come back to a clean room after a long day. the room was spacious, with a nice view outside as seen on the photo i added — you can see the gradual build up of people and cars on the street and how to dress before leaving your room since the weather as of late can be a little quirky. hotel staff were very attentive to needs as well. when we asked for extra pillows and blankets, they were able to deliver them within a few minutes. they don’t offer any snacks or coffee in the room, but have some tea bags and an empty water jug available for use that you can fill up at the designated water station in the hotel. single-use toiletry packets like toothpastes aren’t available too so make sure to have those with you or buy from the convenience store nearby. the process of checking in and out of the hotel was very smooth and quick — literally no fuss whatsoever. location-wise, i have nothing to say other than it being convenient for commuting. overall, my family and i enjoyed our stay here.

Check in process took us more than 30 minutes and came back to us that one of the two rooms we booked was not ready. So we have to keep all luggage in one room. And the staff just asked us to wait. Could have improve on that and staff’s attitude. Room was big and clean, perhaps because still new. Location was great, near to MRT station and famous restaurants.

Location wise very good. Only 2 minutes walk from Islamic Canteen and Mosque. When we booked we didn’t know it’ll be that near so easy for us to find halal food and pray as well. Also about 10 minutes walk to Wan Chai Station. Our room is not very spacious however the price is okay for the room that fits our family of 4 as we chose family room. We mainly took public transport to go everywhere - Disneyland (40 mnt) , Ocean Park ( 20 minutes) , Victoria Peak + Peak Trams ( 25 minutes), ferry terminal to Macau only 10 minutes away and airport around 45 mnt to 1 hr depending on your exchange time. Overall we are satisfied with the hotel. As we will not be spending time inside the room so the price was okay for us with comfortable place to sleep.

The hotel's location is unbeatable - just a short walk from the Wan Chai MTR station and surrounded by plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops. The famous Causeway Bay shopping district is also within easy reach. The room that I booked is small, clean, and comfortable, with all the basic amenities you expect from a boutique hotel. The bed was comfortable, and comes with a rainfall showerhead and bath tub. They also provide a free coupon to enjoy Hong Kong style tea restaurant for your breakfast and also have 2 different types of shuttle bus from 7.15am to 5.35pm from Hotel to airport Express central station or to causeway bay. Overall, one or two day stay at the Cosmo Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and affordable stay in Hong Kong.
