Ulasan Grand Naniloa Hotel, a Doubletree by Hilton

This hotel is so terrible,despite charging me for exorbitant charges for resort fees, valet and asked them to clean up my room,hotel front desk told me I need 24hr. notice.It sucks. This is the only hotel responded me like that in my 30 years of of EXPERIENCE.Never book on this hotel again and spread their actions to my friend family and public.

Have a great stay at the hotel, nice view, close to the beach.

The Restaurant doesn't have special menu, just expensive. But, the scenery is pretty good. The pool is used only by kids. So, we wanted to use it, but we didn't. And, I felt it's for adults who drink alcohol. So I don't recommend young adults.

Loved the service they have there especially the 24h valet parking they offer. The first room I got was not really well as it feels very dusty, but they were very quick and offered a new room for me. I wanted a balcony and upgraded myself to it. One issue is the minor noise of some kind of engine at night especially when it’s quiet in the room. Definitely will be back to this hotel.

The service was very terrible when I looked on my checking paper it said balance I pay at the hotel is $46.00.But it was a different story when I checked in they told me I would have to put $100.00 deposit which I didn’t even get back my deposit.They double charge me 46.00 twice.This is one hotel the bed was dirty look like the bed wasn’t even made.The carpet was very dirty.No nice scenery.I will never recommend anyone to go to this hotel.They make it look amazing in the pictures but it’s not what you see on the pictures.

Stayed only the one night. Decent room size, basic room amenities, valet parking onsite. The air conditioning was too loud to have on overnight. Overall a pleasant stay.

Paint from the walls peeled off, service was so so, difficult to get the welcome drink as bartender was over stretched, many light flies where there during our stay unfortunately.

Is this Hilton? The number one on the Big Island? All show and no substance. Except for the price of Hilton, the hotel is a mess even for basic hygiene. First of all, they don't clean. Secondly, the toilet paper and napkins are all synthetic and recycled. Our room should be a converted suite. The door is in the door. The mirror is directly hung on the wall. The air conditioner sounds like a tractor coming in. There are big cockroaches crawling around the elevator entrance. We stayed here for three days. Every night, we closed our suitcases tightly for fear that bugs would come in. That would make me crazy. This hotel is definitely good in Hilo, Big Island, with beautiful scenery and a free botanical garden next to it where you can see the Hawaiian state bird, the nēnē goose. The sea view room I booked does face the sea with all windows. It is very beautiful when I open the curtains in the morning. There is another thunder point. This hotel does not clean the room by default for consecutive stays. You need to make an appointment for cleaning in advance or tell them that you need to clean every day when you check in. Otherwise, their room service will not enter the room! The breakfast I booked on Ctrip included three breakfasts, but in fact, their hotel can only book two by default. When I got there, I contacted Ctrip again, and Ctrip refunded me the breakfast fee for one person. Later, when I checked out, I asked the front desk to print out the bill to figure out how they calculated the breakfast. Here I will also introduce it to you: the hotel breakfast is priced at 25 yuan per person. It is not a buffet but a meal. After ordering, it will be posted to the room bill and charged according to the actual fee. But when I checked out, the front desk didn't mention the breakfast bill, and directly calculated the total bill. I found that the settlement email sent to me was the total bill including breakfast. I went back to the front desk and reminded her that I had booked a breakfast-included package. She said, "Oh, sorry to check it." Then she said she would refund 25 yuan/day/person (50 yuan/day) to my card. If I hadn't checked it, I would have charged it again without knowing it. So it is recommended that you don't include breakfast in this hotel. The quality of their a la carte breakfast is still good, and you can go to the restaurant to order it directly. In addition, the beverage coupons given in the lobby bar can be used in the lobby bar, but I didn't find out until the last day that it can also be used in the breakfast room. One coupon can be exchanged for a glass of juice or soft drink. Then the hotel also has free hot coffee and hot tea, but it is hidden next to the restaurant. You have to ask to understand. There are also two large cookies given when you check in, and you can ask her for them at any time. The front desk will be happy to give you two. The facilities are simple, toothbrushes and bottled water are available only if you need them. I stayed in this hotel for one night while going to see the volcano. The hotel seems to have a golf course. The environment is very good, close to the beach, and there is a swimming pool. The children liked it very much. I will go there again next time.
