Clean room, good english receptionist. Very near to Ximending and NTUH metro station. With cheap price, you should stay here when visiting Taipei, especially alone travellers.

I was disappointed by my stay in this hotel, I recommended by trip.com that this hotel very near ximen night market but the Google map say otherwise . It was oppsite and need to take 400m walk to from ximen station. The room is too small. And worse they don't provide towels.. u have to pay to rental a towel for shower. I will rather extra 20 USD for a night to stay other hotel. despite the new laws on disposable toiletries. It is noisy , the room is not clean and bed is not comfortable to sleep. I will not recommend your holiday at here and it is too pricey.

I love the concept of the hostel. We choose the twin bedroom. Just a small space consist of just a twin (bunk)bed. Below they put a sofa that can be use as a bed as well. So another (third) person can sleep there. Wash basin, and shower is inside the room but toilet is outside. Communal toilets have bidets which is major love for us Malaysians. Complete enough amenities for a traveller like us that will always be outside anyway. There are pantry with hot water and fridge. But u have to bring ur own cups and utensils. There is one washing machine and one dryer upstairs that can be used before 10pm as to avoid disturbing sleeping guests. Other self service laundry available nearby. Recommend stay for people on the go.

For one night in a central location, close to tapei main station and ximen district with a park nearby perfect. Free hot and cold water

MY Honest Review of My Stay at Sleep Box Hotel My recent stay at the Sleep Box Hotel left me with a few concerns, particularly for solo backpackers like myself. Here's what I experienced: The capsule accommodation offered little to no privacy. If you're looking for a space where you can relax and unwind in peace, this may not meet your expectations. I found the capsule to be uncomfortable. It was hot inside, and there were no free towels provided, which I believe is a basic necessity fior any traveller. Additionally, the absence of entertainment amenities, such as a television or other forms of distraction, made the experience less enjoyable. On top of that, noise was strictly prohibited, which made it even more uncomfortable for those who wish to interact or enjoy a social environment. The biggest disappointment was the state of the facilities, which I found to be dirty and poorly maintained. The overall atmosphere did not match the level of cleanliness and comfort I had hoped for. Tips for Backpackers: If you are a backpacker looking for budget-friendly accommodation, I would advise you to reconsider your expectations before booking at Sleep Box Hotel. The price might be tempting, but it's crucial to weigh what you're getting in return. Ensure you bring your own towel and be prepared for the heat inside the capsule. Additionally, if you value privacy and cleanliness, you might want to explore other options that offer more comfort and better amenities. To attract more tourists, it would be beneficial for the hotel to improve their cleanliness standards and offer basic necessities such as towels, fans, or air conditioning inside the capsules. Offering at least some form of entertainment or creating a more social-friendly environment could also elevate the overall experience for backpackers.

Good for short stay. Near in night market and 24 hours store.

Staff is really friendly. Room is small but cleanw, great location close to the metro and many attractions. Will be back!

Very nice capsule beds. Everything is nice and clean. AC working all night Kitchen , hot water, microwave oven, fridge. Place for luggage provided Coin laundry in hotel Close to Ximen walking street and near by beautiful park. 7/11 across the street.

I stayed here the most. Friendly and helpful receptionists, Clean beds, however I suggest to organize a deep clean as some of the boxes have gaps and I found a local train ticket that was purchased last year’s July. Now it’s March. Overall I’m happy to comeback here. Love the concept of this place  And Finally! Lockers are outside of the room. I can use it freely during the night!

They have everything you need and you are a couple minutes next to Ximen. Only downsides are the shower rooms are very tight and you may have to wait a bit for the Boiler to get hot if you shower late. And the bigger thing since there’s so many Beds in the Mixed backpacker room it’s Insanely easy to have multiple people there that will sleeptalk and moan during sleep. But that’s it. Not great not Terrible

Small room but very near to ximending

Positives: fantastic location. Comfortable facilities, showers, and air-conditioning. Clean. Spacious common area with travel guides, tourist maps, discount coupons etc. Challenges: pretty late check in time (4pm), rooms could be a little damp, but pretty good considering. In my previous stay, we were given complementary towels, but this time they cost extra, just something to bear in mind.

Very very convenient location within 5 minutes walk to ximen station. Very affordable pricing as well.
