My second stay in this hotel, staffs are friendly, foods are great. For those who is coming the first time, please take the train from station 51 and get off at station 55 (Kowakidani). From station 55, you can either 1) walk for 15 mins to the hotel Or 2) take the mini 10 seats shuttle bus from 2-5 pm (every 10-15 mins), just wait at the exit. If you need a pick up outside of this time, call the hotel and they will pick you up (a local Japanese phone number in the picture attached)

It's a great getaway from the traditional Hakone crowds. We booked the private onsen due to the tattoo policies and the top floor rooms have a good view to the moutains. The restaurant facilities, service and politeness are great and we would definitely return. A great plus: an amazing cascate easy trail 5min away from the hotel. With the right shoes it takes 45-1h to reach the lake and avoid the crowds piling up on the hakone bus services.

Great variety of onsens available. Meals were delicious and we would highly recommend this hotel.

Despite my limited Japanese, the staff were friendly and attentive. The garden and hot spring foot bath are really lovely and give a nice rest after travelling.

Hotel has really nice hot spring, but the facilities are old and should be improved.

The hotel location is quite good but you gotta have a bit patience in how to get there if you drive with Navi. The service quality is decent overall. Recommend to those who would like to enjoy their stay in family style.

The bathroom is a bit small, the sheets are average, the balcony is very convenient for hot springs, and other facilities are also complete. It is very quiet to sleep. There are two options for dinner: barbecue and hot pot. I feel that hot pot is more filling. Breakfast is Japanese. Take the bus from Odawara to Ninodaira entrance, and walk 350 meters to the hotel. The distance is not far, mainly uphill.

Excellent facilities and staff. The entire staff was very attentive and friendly. They were always willing to help and offered excellent service. I would definitely return.

The room is very big, there are two free hot springs, you can eat as much ice cream and Yakult milk as you want after soaking, the dinner and breakfast are rich, the service staff is friendly, the environment is quiet, and it is a very satisfying hot spring hotel experience!

I give full marks to this Hakone Hotel. First of all, the transportation is convenient. Although it is on the mountain, there is a 711 nearby. The hotel has complete facilities. I tried both the public and private baths. They were very good and comfortable. Ice milk and popsicles are free. The service attitude is very good. Breakfast is the most surprising, full of ritual sense.

When I checked in, the front desk lady gave a very detailed introduction, and even took out the hotel map to explain the location, including the restaurant location, dining time, dinner type, free services, etc.; The hotel has a small shuttle bus at a fixed time to shuttle between the tram and the hotel, which can be taken if needed; the hotel's breakfast and dinner products are quite good, both are more traditional Japanese style, worth a try; The overall environment is good. In addition to foreign tourists, there are also many Japanese locals staying. It is a relatively historical hotel, so it is inevitable that there will be a little smell when you just check in, but it will be fine after a while; The surrounding transportation is basically only buses, and there are not many buses, so you need to wait. If you want to travel, you need to understand it in advance; I went there at the end of November. The maple leaves are very beautiful, the weather is very suitable for hot springs, and the nearby art museum is also very good. It is a good choice.

A Japanese hot spring hotel with a very good value for money. I booked a one night and two meals package. The food was very rich. The dinner was a hot pot set meal. It provided a one-on-one Japanese service. You need to finish one dish before ordering the next one. The breakfast was a traditional Japanese breakfast, which was very rich. The hot springs were also good. Although there were not many pools and the scale was small, it was difficult to experience the private hot springs because there were only three and you had to rely on luck (I didn't experience it), but there was free ice cream after the hot springs, and free supper at night. Overall, it was very good and recommended. It is quite close to the Open-Air Museum
