Amenities are relatively old since it's not yet renovated to Leonardo style remains old furnitures. bedding and towels remains clean.

Fantastically located on the quayside. The hotel has parking spaces but these are limited and therefore I parked at the car park opposite Gateshead college, around 6 mins walk away. Tbh it was cheaper to park there than the hotel car park and not that far. The hotel itself is nicely presented and the adjoined bar on the ground floor also has outdoor seating so that you may enjoy the views. The views itself are very decent from the room I was in. The room was very clean apart from a few handprint stains on the wall above the toilet in the bathroom. They looked more like old stains which probably wouldn’t come out unless it was painted again. Can’t comment on breakfast as I didn’t have any, but the hotel provided a complimentary coffee voucher from the bar and also some money off food from their restaurant.
Overall a nice hotel and would stay again if ever in the area.

Although listing says parking is available, the car park is blocked off with no information as to what the issue is or an alternative for guests. This lead to me parking at a neighbouring car park, spending £20 more for my stay than the advertised hotel parking would have cost me. There are notices around the hotel referring to the car park but they become irrelevant if the car park access is restricted.
The hotel overall is lovely and has a good balance of a**osphere and calmness. A great location for reaching the city.

Didn’t get much sleep due to the noise from the adjacent rooms but that’s not the hotels fault. Car park was full and it’s a longish walk up a big hill to the nearest car park. Good location for the glasshouse and just across the bridge to the city centre so overall good value

Great price and perfect location for a concert at the Glasshouse. Room clean and tidy. Good breakfast. Great price and easy parking at only £8.50 for 24 hours.
