Sleep Inn & Suites Galveston Island

The lobby has an awful mildew smell. The showers are run down. The rooms still look dirty and the view is horrible.

There is a strange odor when you walk in the lobby. Everything was clean enough but there was a random hole in the wall in front of the elevators on the first floor. The breakfast was a typical continental breakfast. The trip website says indoor pool but it's outside. I didn't see any fitness room. The tub had areas of caulk that was missing. But overall I did enjoy my stay.

As soon as you walk in there is a foul oder. Room and hallway is musty smelling. Reserved room for THREE therefore there should have been THREE bath towels and wash rags without having to ask or having to go to he front desk to get what was missing. Was woken up early by very loud guests above our room. Reported it and it stopped for maybe 10 minutes and then started again. Impossible to go back to sleep. Breakfast is definitely nothing to base your stay on. Just go buy yourself a decent breakfast!

There was a bed bug on my bed room 417. I didn’t stay at the property, I have been trying to reach the general manager Dee Singh y phone and email. It’s been two weeks so far and still no call back or email received regarding my complaint. Iv’e call numerous times and the front desk says all she can do is see if Dee has received my email, that’s all she can do. She’s just waiting for Dee to review my email. No one cares that this hotel has bed bugs, no urgency what’s so ever. I’m starting to think that I’m just another customer complaining about the end bugs since no call back or anything regarding this situation. Property was OK breakfast was not a very good choice of items. But we needed a place to stay until our cruise

Great customer service. Room was very clean and comfortable. Overall, hotel was a bit dated and had an old or stale odor. Breakfast buffet very limited. Milk was spoiled, juice machine was watered down, and cappuccino machine was out so service. However, the price was very good. Overall I am satisfied.

You get what you pay for. This facility is worse than a Motel 6. First walk into the room and dead roaches on the bathroom floor. Second room has black spiders on the wall and dead spiders in the sink. Soda machines take your money and front desk is nonchalant about it. Night Front desk staff seem to never be at the front unless you ring that bell several times. If you ask for extra sheets they have hair on them (clearly not clean). Free breakfast isnt worth getting sick over. Entire place needs to be shut down by the health depar**ent before they kill someone. Not sure if we got spider bites on our legs or rash. But for sure it came from this nasty hotel. Do better. Will NEVER be back! Dont be fooled. They are quick to offer you to keep your car on the priperty until you return from your cruise but its a $10 shuttle ride per person to the ship but youll have to find your way back to the hotel at the end of the cruise. After the visit ill rather pay extra to park at the Galveston Pier.
