Camping les Gorges du Chambon

Great campsite in a lovely rural area. Really nice pool area to hang out in and we found plenty to do on the area. Aqua parks, zip lines etc within a 45 minute drive. Mostly French and Dutch which suited us pro Europeans just fine..

A disappointing site, overcharged at 46 euros for an unkempt, uneven and messy pitch with faulty electrical connections. Showers and toilets really outdated, nowhere to put clothes in Showers, broken hooks, dark and smelly. Not a 5 star site. Obviously the owners are just money makers as these conditions were commented on many times before. Avoid!!

A nice for peace and quite it was in the middle of the countryside and it’s sits within as complex of permanent chalets. A nice reception/ shop / restaurant and swimming pools. The pitches fall away so ensure you have levelling ramps ! Wi fi ok ish at reception area. Nearby there is an outward bounds type centre but that quiet. There are a number of marked walks straight from the site. Toilets and facilities are spotless and are regularly cleaned.

We stayed here for two nights on our way south. What a delightful place and so peaceful at this time of year. Lots of very well marked walking trails and I took my bike out for a hilly ride on quiet lanes. Our host couldn’t have been more welcoming and generous. Definitely a campsite to visit.

Friendly and safe site - beautiful surroundings and great pitches. Quiet after 10pm, staff were friendly and helpful. Would perhaps have done with the last hour in the pool being only adults as it was very busy during the day. overall a great campsite and would definetly go back again.

We zaten in een nieuwe sta caravan. Nr 79. De huisjes zijn echt top. Je kunt zien dat ze erg nieuw zijn. Prima bedden en bijna overal usb aansluiting. De stoelen buiten mogen wel wat fijner nog. Dit waren gewoon simpele plastic stoelen, maar wie weet komt dit in de toekomst nog. Ook zou het leuk zijn als er ook een speeltuintje op de velden bij de huisjes komt. Dit geeft extra sfeer en is leuk voor de kinderen. De plek was mooi en we keken uit op de weilanden met de koeien. De camping verder is leuk en we voelde ons erg veilig. Kinderen kunnen vrij spelen met elkaar er er is nauwelijks tot geen verkeer. Zwembad is prima. Niet erg groot maar wij vonden dit geen probleem. Wel valt er nog zo veel meer uit deze camping te halen. Het restaurant kan veel beter. Vaak duurt het eten lang, sla wat bruin,ijsjes waren op en zelfs geen cola. Zet hier een goede kok op,beter personeel en vul de voorraad wat beter aan. Ook is het daar wat verouderd. Ook bij het zwembad is geen drinken of ijs te verkrijgen. Prima maar wil je meer verdienen dan lijkt me dit een gemiste kans. Nederlandse eigen waren erg vriendelijk. Wij hebben het erg na ons zin gehad ! Dankjewel hiervoor.

Tevreden over de campingplaatsen maar animatie zou wel wat aandacht kunnen gebruiken. Korte kinderdisco, spullen niet op orde voor knutselclub. Gezien de hoeveelheid kinderen op de camping een gemiste kans.

Camping tout simplement à fuir !! Rien ne va du début à la fin de l'entretien du camping en passant par les activités et à l'espace aquatique. Ce camping ne dépasse pas les deux étoiles. Presque aucun élément de la carte disponible et ce en pleine saison. Des activités bâcler. De l'eau chaude une journée sur 7 Espace de jeux pour enfants complètement à l'abandon. Espace aquatique magnifique sur photo c'est un tout autre paysage une fois sur place. Je ne recommande pas ce camping La directrice et tout de même très compréhensible et sympathique mais je pense débordé par le travail.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment au camping merci aux propriétaires et au personnel très sympa l'espace aquatique était super avec des toboggans qui ont beaucoup amusés petits et grands. Les emplacements sont spacieux également au top !
