Lovely hotel in the city centre. Within walking distance to all the main sights. Warm reception staff. Love the spacious pool and well-equipped gym. Will stay again!

This is not a 5 star hotel! I have to be honest, I have stayed in many 5 star hotels across Asia and to come to Scotland I had hoped for better. I booked this hotel for two nights with my daughter who is in her 20’s. Check in was swift and the twin room we were allocated was basic and not very big. Our room overlooked the Usher Hall and Castle. Breakfast the first morning was very disappointing. There is no buffet breakfast, only al a carte. You were to choose a starter eg. Porridge, overnight oats and then a main: full cooked breakfast, pancakes with bacon. However, all the food came together, which meant that if we’d eaten the yogurt first, the main courses would have been cold. I complained to two different servers and neither of them offered so much as an apology. To use the One Spa, you have to have booked a spa room or pay extra…definitely not worth it. This should be included for all rooms. Don’t book this hotel, there are many better hotels in Edinburgh for the same if not less money.

A really good hotel, nice facilities with good food at the bar, I haven't tried the restaurant.

Lovely hotel in a great location for usher hall . Staff were friendly and helpful , rooms were spacious and had everything you needed . Added bonus spa treatment was excellent.

The overall experience was fine. Food and restaurant staff were nice. The spa was closed because of the fire. Very sad. WiFi and air conditioner in my room were broken on the first and second day of the stay. Probably caused by the leaking. A heater wasn’t provided till communicating 6 times with the receptionists. Quite disappointed. Feel that receptionists were not professional enough to handle situations I experienced. With the spa being closed, wifi and the air conditioner being broken, this hotel feels more like a 3 or 4 star hotel, instead of 5. Recommend people to come to stay after everything being fixed.

Amazing place

比較現代，空間也不是很大，WiFi如果多一個電子產品連上網需要另外付款費用，一天差不多六英鎊

房間可以看到城堡，健身房挺大，設備什麼的都不錯。去周邊也比較方便，去王子街，皇家英里步行沒壓力

酒店很好， 衹是水療是外在管理， 另外付費

環境設備都還行，除了水壓不大，服務看似熱情，其實毫無人性，兒子發燒了協商提前一點時間辦理入住休息都不同意，一定要3點以後才能入住，另外後來發現預付的50磅按金給我扣了，真差勁，直接搶錢算了

很好的五星酒店，離城堡很近，房間很舒適，用餐和酒吧也都很好很美味。唯一美中不足就是健身房和游泳池不是24小時開放，晚上9就關了。

房間有點不通風，尤其是關燈的機制是有個小機器在房頂掃描人有沒有在屋內活動，如果沒有人就會關燈，大體還行，像是國內四星酒店吧
