"The Hotel has modern decor, a nice atmosphere, and is neat and clean. The room is a bit small, but it's comfortable and ok for a short stay. It's well decorated and tidy. It's a bit far from the center, about a 20-minute walk, but it's very convenient to travel by the tram, which stops in front of the hotel, only 5 mins reach the center. There's only 1 tram in the city. If you come by train, getting off at Waverley Station, you walk to the Waverley Market, the Princess Street exit, and you can get on the tram to the hotel, getting off at the Haymarket stop, very very convenient. As I'm Thai, I met a Thai staff member at the reception, and he's very nice, friendly, and helpful. I will certainly come back to stay here if I come to Edinburgh again. Edinburgh is so beautiful, like a fairy tale."

"I booked this hotel at a budget-friendly price compared to other options, and it was good value for the money. The room was clean, comfortable, and everything was well maintained. There were just a couple of small issues. The room had a wardrobe but no hangers, which was a bit inconvenient. The soundproofing was also not very good, so I could hear nearby guests opening and closing their doors. "The room was clean and the facilities were fairly complete, though a bit small. It would be perfectly fine as student accommodation. However, as a commercial rental, the price is quite steep; at around 1200 including tax, the value for money isn't great. Because it's dormitory-style with area doors (each area having five or six rooms) and shared kitchen doors, the sound insulation is poor, so it can get quite noisy. There's often a chorus of loud doors opening and closing, as well as hairdryer noise. The train tracks are right across the street, but it wasn't noisy at night, perhaps due to infrequent service."

"I visited at the end of March, and Edinburgh was still quite cold, especially with the strong winds. The hostel's location is excellent, right by the church on the Royal Mile, making it easy to walk to all the other famous attractions. The room was very clean, and even though I booked a mixed dorm, I was kindly placed in an all-female room. The bed was clean, with a USB charging port, a privacy curtain, a lockable locker, and a shoe cabinet. The communal bathrooms and toilets were spacious, with each shower stall having a separate wet and dry area, plus a hairdryer. I highly recommend having breakfast at the hostel; the waffle I ordered was huge, and guests get a discount. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!"
