Just back from 10 day stay at this hotel. We had the 3 bedroom apar**ent. 2 adults, 3 kids. The apar**ent is spacious and has fridge, microwave, kettle, hob, toaster (broken) and plenty of utensils. Most of the items are a little outdated but do the job. The apar**ent, although spacious, is a little outdated and could do with a refurb. The apar**ent was only cleaned once and that came from me requesting for it to be done. I found myself also having to ask for fresh towels every other day as none of the cleaner dropped any off. The beds are uncomfortable and have a waterproof sheet on them which you can hear rustling when trying to sleep. The pool is decent but if you want to get a sun-bed then you have to be up early. We were told by reception that the pool opens at 10am and closes at 6pm. We were also told that no one can claim beds until after 10am which clearly wasn’t the case as their were towels down as early as 7am. A lot of people still remained in the pool after 6pm. Staff at the hotel are friendly. The food at the pool is ok during the day. We ate pizzas, chips, salads on some days but then ate one night at the pool restaurant and it wasn’t great but edible. The shop onsite is great for bottles of water and bakery goods like bread, pastries and cakes etc. Everything else is pretty expensive. If you are self catering there are plenty of supermarkets in the centre of Adeje you can pick up tinned food, milk and fresh fruits. The hill everyone talks about is steep. It takes 20mins to walk down to Costa Adeje and a taxi back cost between €6/8. We walked up a few times and it’s pretty tough and I consider myself very fit. If you do have health problems or disabilities then I’d recommend either catching a taxi down, which you can order at reception, or find an alternative hotel further down the hill. A few things people may want to know:- Didn’t experience any cockroaches or mosquitoes at the hotel. You can rent towels from reception for the sun beds, costing €3 and €10 deposit. If you have a late flight you can ask for an extension on the room which cost is €50. This maybe differ depending on the size of the room. There are electric scooters you can rent outside the hotel. You need an iPhone or android phone. Very easy to use and convenient if you want to get down the hill quicker. Be careful as they are fast. There is air-con in the room which is free. There is a tv in the room with various channels. The reason I’ve given a 3 star is the cleanliness of the apar**ent. Not getting clean towels and having to ask for them daily. The apar**ent is really outdated and some of the fixtures are rusty. I wouldn’t return to the hotel and would likely look for a place closer to the centre where everything is more accessible.
