Rating: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5) Our stay at the restaurant was enjoyable overall, but there were a few issues that affected our experience: Positives: The check-in process was quite smooth. We arrived 3 hours early, and the staff was kind enough to accommodate us and provide the room without any hassle. The location is excellent; the hotel is very close to Calangute Beach, just about 1.2 km away, making it convenient to enjoy the beach whenever we wanted. The swimming pool was the highlight of our stay—clean, well-maintained, and perfect for a fun time. We truly had a blast there. The reception staff was generally friendly and always greeted us with a smile, which was a pleasant touch. The restaurant itself was great, with delicious food and attentive service. Special thanks to Prakash Sir, who welcomed us with a smile every time, making our dining experience even better. The restaurant staff was courteous and helpful, though there was a minor hiccup when dosa was served without chutney. Areas for Improvement: Air Conditioning Issue: We had to change our room because the AC stopped working. Our original room had a beautiful swimming pool view, but the new room’s view was not worth the money, which was disappointing. Unprofessional Conduct: When we checked in, the staff members who showed us the room carried their shoes inside, which is highly unprofessional. I’ve never seen staff carry shoes into a guest room, and the same happened whenever cleaning was done. Bathroom Jet Spray: The jet spray in the bathroom made a loud noise when pressed softly, which was quite disruptive. Noisy Beds: The beds creaked loudly whenever we changed sleeping positions, disturbing our sleep significantly. Reception Experience: While the reception staff was mostly friendly, there was one incident that felt unnecessary. I was informed not to have outside food near the pool by the manager, which I accepted. However, later, when I approached the reception with a query, a staff member—who appeared to be from the North East—reiterated the same message in a rather blunt manner and without a smile. Once the information is communicated, there’s no need for the staff to repeat it, especially in a less courteous tone. Overall, the stay was good, but these issues affected our experience, hence the 3-star rating. With a few improvements, it could have been perfect.
