Mont-Park

Reception was good very polite and helpful. We arrived late and was told that a small 2 course meal was provided. That's the good bit over. The rooms are dated and very run down, the aircon/heating didn't work, there was no fridge. The ceiling near the for looked like they had had a floor from the room above. The bathroom was small and out of the ark. Even to the point you had a shower curtain that had seen better days. Food wasn't much better scrambled eggs dripping in butter was about the only thing worth having. Everything else was swimming in oil. Lunch: ushered in and told where to sit even though there was empty set tables in the window, but they was for the Spanish guests who where king. That I understand but you are in the hospitality industry so please show the respect to everyone not just few. We was sat at a table in a row. The restaurant manager walked past, spoke to everyone except us. Rude very comes into mind. The food was ok 2 main choices of meat, but if your a vegetarian your living on salad as was my sons girlfriend. If your british please think twice about coming here, there are some very nice hotels in Benidorm, ok you may have to pay a little extra but it's well worth it.

Fantastic value for money in a great location Staff couldn’t do enough I’m basing my review bearing in mind the cost , please don’t expect an ultra modern , up to date hotel , but for the cost I couldn’t fault it , clean and well managed

Room ok food appalling luke warm only one hot veg sliced warm up meat and what looked like left overs from breakfast fried up breakfast warm to cold and limited selection tried to complain didn't want to know no English TV walls very thin will not stay here again

My sister and I have stayed here for the 7th time , for 12 nights As always it was outstanding from the food to the service we received . On arrival we were checked in by Miguel who happily changed our room as we wanted one on a higher floor. Joseph and Jimsi and all the dining roam staff looked after us very well . The food was very good and varied . The pool area was spotless and there was no stampede for sun loungers. All public areas especially the lift and toilets were cleaned constantly . Our bed linen was changed 3 times in the 12 days we were there .. The bathroom and towels were spotless . Over the years this hotel is catering for other European guests. In all we have no complains and will be returning next year . Thank you to all the staff

Just returned from the mont park and I've got to say it was terrible. The hotel from outside looks OK but it is up a steep hill deffo not suited for any older folks like me really takes it out of you the climb. Reception , bar, pool area clean but basic . The room was pretty much as expected basic bedding fresh as where the towels room cleaned every day. The bed not fit for purpose rock hard and lumpy. Furniture very tatty and worn out. Tv no English channels and really small. Verander facing pool got sunshine afternoon . No sun round pool till afternoon aswell. We were full board and it was as expected completely catered for the Spanish hygiene was non existence at breakfast had to use bare hands to take bread out of packet no tongs. no hand sanitisers any where in building. Other reviews mention cold food our food was always hot that's a plus. The staff were shockingly rude , especially the old chap on Reception zero people skills and very abrupt . The bar man was the same really ignorant everything was a effort for him . The place is definitely not suited for brits especially if your wanting a good time with staff huffing and puffing, rolling there eyes at the slightest request. All staff should be replaced or retrained no English speaking staff at all. I've been to benidorm Many times and I am not a professional moaner but please heed my warning DO NOT stay at the mont park.

I'm here at this hotel now, can honestly say for the first time ever I can't wait to get home away from it, the only positive thing I can say is the beds are spotless and comfortable, full to the brim with ignorant spanish, i think we're the only British ones staying here, we are bed and breakfast, selection of fruit and pastries, hot breakfast is shocking, selection disgraceful,. Will be eating out from now on. Definitely wouldn't recommend staying here, won't be back.

Stayed at this hotel many times over the years and now needs updated rooms still have the orange walls and no TV,Thetford is awful with very rude Spanish pensioners all over the place,on a plus side the location is great and handy for the beach and amenities

The Worst hotel that I have ever been in food was cold and I mean cold the hotel reception is utterly poor they speak very little english had to use a phone translator to speak to us when we left I hired a safe and as we were leaving I went to hand the safe key in and get my deposit back and he wanted the receipt that they gave me when I got the safe I was not told that I had to save the receipt but put it in my handbag and could not find it so refused to give me my deposit back I had my room key my Passport and the safe key what more proof did they need to give me my deposit back but he refused to give me the deposit back and this was at 2.45 am as we were going for our coach home the rooms were not cleaned properly I dropped a canderel sweetener on the floor and it rolled under the dressing table it was there for 4 days the skirting boards were dirty the table on the balcony was dirty and very marked in fact it was dirty full stop they don't cater for the English at all just don't go and the holiday cost us £500.00 each and we had to eat out for 3 meals when we should have just had to buy a lunch I was heartbroken I am 70 years old 71 in June and I have been going abroad for many many years and I never thought that I would ever get a hotel as bad as this

Checked in late at night we’ve stayed here before so knew the rooms are always tidy. However there was a awful smell what I could only attribute to the drains. We were 702 which had a lovely pool and sea view. Pool area nice and clean and gets the sun all day pool was very cold. Bar very cheap and great service , sangria is lethal. Struggled with the breakfast as the coffee was awful and the breakfast items lukewarm at the very least. Evening meals always fish and usually chicken and some very queer concoctions. All in all it’s a quiet hotel however the road outside can be noisy at night. We checked out Thursday and there were 30 lads heading in, I hope they’re quiet as that’s all you want on holiday. Would I stay again probably not. It’s got 3 stars but if you compare it to the Helios which also has 3 stars there is no competition
