Tryp by Wyndham Belo Horizonte Savassi

It’s probably my 10th time here. I always stay when I come to Belo Horizonte for business. Shower is amazing! Breakfast is really good

It’s a nice hotel, well located. The room is very simple, almost like a hostel, but comfortable. I liked it but would not stay there again, for that price I could have gotten something better. We left really early in the morning and the guy in shift in the front desk only spoke portuguese which made it really difficult for check out since we had to pay for some stuff from the minibar. Breakfast is included and is really great.

I stayed at the Tryp by Wyndham hotel from Feb 18th until Feb 26th. After traveling for 25 hours I wanted to arrive to a clean room but it was not the case. On Feb 19th I contacted the front desk about my room’s cleanliness. The floor were filthy and the bathroom had mold everywhere. They sent a housekeeper that “cleaned” the room in 5 minutes. I contacted ******* about the issue with no resolution. Also, the room service tray and my trash stayed in the hallway for THREE DAYS. I contacted the front desk about it and NOTHING was done. Incompetent staff that can’t communicate with each other or even takes notes about my molded bathroom. All they had to do is move me to a clean room. I talked to Linda at the front desk and she took my complaints and said she was going to speak with a manager. I never heard from the manager. So long story short save your trouble at stay somewhere else.

The food was not very good. I asked for an iron to iron a shirt and they did not have any. The mattress was hard and some of the outlets in the room did not work.

The property is in a good location. Staff is very helpful. Be aware if you traveling overseas they only have Brazilian plugs and had no adapters to borrow.

Estadia incrível! De longe o melhor hotel que já fiquei em bh em relação a educação dos funcionários!! Todos muito prestativos e atenciosos. Quarto grande, bem espaçoso, tudo conforme descrito no anúncio. Ótima localização também. Café da manhã com ótimas opções para todos os gostos! Com certeza voltarei!!

As águas do frigobar estavam congeladas. Não consegui ligar na recepção a noite pra pedir água porque o telefone não funcionava. Passei cede. O blackout não é muito bom e entra muita claridade embaixo da porta.
