5 star Turkish, this is not UK 5 star. Still a very acceptable clean hotel with hardworking staff, who we found extremely helpful and friendly. Food very good with lots of choices for all tastes. Rooms, we booked side sea view. Would highly recommend this. Ours faced the port of Marmaris, beautiful view of boats and mountains behind. Room spacious with balcony, mini bar/fridge( drinks from it chargeable but 2 bottles water included daily in room) hairdryer in room and free safety deposit box. TV with English speaking news channel and British drama channel. Dressing gown, slippers and loads of toiletries in the room to use. Air con very good. Free Wi-Fi around the hotel, can be a bit hit and miss and slow. Found reception area the best signal. It was adequate. Beach towels supplied daily. All inclusive drinks, bit disappointing, limited choice and quality of the local drinks. unlimited bottled water from the bars and restaurant. Family run Hairdresser/ stylist in hotel was exceptionally skilled. very reasonably priced. A ladies cut only £15. Other body treatments available. The downside for us was the extremely loud bass music in the pool bar area and beachside that started at 10am until late into the evening. Evening shows started at 10pm. 7am is the best time to sit on the beach listening to the sea before the music begins, slightly spoiled by the music from the Irish Bar next door that starts about 8ish. We tolerated the hotel music for a few days and on occasions they turned the bass down at our request, which we appreciated. Feel this hotel caters more for younger peoples music choice. Their is a quiet pool ( no music) and also a bar/ seating area near reception, ( occasionally a piano player) so you can escape the heavy bass music. We compromised, but missed out on the beautiful sea view and evening entertainment. Water sports activities can be booked adjacent to the hotel, prices negotiable. We went parasailing £70 for two including video and photos. Considered this a good price and great experience. Everywhere appeared happy to take either £,€,$ and Turkish lira. A minor thing but If you arrive late at night, no food is available unless you pay for room service. In the past other hotels have left a snack in the room. Might be worth them considering this.
