Excellent room. Really big with nice sitting area, balcony, good working desk. Also loved the bathroom. Had some problems getting the safe to work but eventually were fixed. There is not much micro economy outside and just one restaurant. I did manage to get Grab from the hotel. The hotel runs a great shuttle to Semarapura and Goa Lawah, it's free but you tip the driver and guide and pay for entry to the various sites. The spa area is nice but the treatment I had was not very good.

Serenity What a lovely hotel this is. Beautiful landscaping and architecture. The rooms are large and very homie with a comfortable sofa, table and TV. The balcony is huge! There’s room to do yoga and it’s a great place to read or write in privacy, with the sound of the waves crashing and tropical birds singing. The main pool is massive with a fun swim up bar and there are so many lounge chairs everywhere, you’re sure to get one. I really enjoyed lounging by the sea wall and walking along the beach. The staff are super friendly and attentive. It’s also not too far from the street where you can find a shop or a salon. Wishes: The rugs in the room were full of stains and should be deep cleaned or replaced (or just gone). Also, I did not try the breakfast buffet, but I did order room service. The omelette and gluten free bread was very nice; however, the ricotta seemed a bit off and the yogurt was clumpy. The orange juice was fermented. (probably not stored properly as it’s tricky in these hot climates) so I did mention this issue to the manager and he promptly offered me some fruit and to make me a fresh juice. I hope they can improve the food to match the amazing atmosphere and service.

Although the location of the hotel is a bit remote, it doesn't matter for the second half of our trip, which is mainly for playing in the hotel! We still ordered a single-family villa with a swimming pool, which is quite private. We ordered breakfast. Various Western breakfasts are very suitable for our taste. We ordered dinner in the room on the first night. The food was very delicious and exquisite. The whole table was only more than 500 yuan when we checked out. The seafood set meal was booked in the restaurant for dinner on the second day. It was still delicious and exquisite. Blowing the sea breeze and listening to living music, it was romantic and warm! The chef also came to each table to introduce the dishes and listen to opinions. Very nice! Champagne was sent to the room, which was delicious! In addition to the welcome fruit sent on the first day, there were snacks sent every day, which were delicious😋! The hotel's unique black sand beach is very special and beautiful! In short, it is very quiet and very private, very good! Very like it!

This is a new hotel located right on Kedonganan beach. Everything still looks new and there are some parts under construction. When we checked in, we were warmly welcomed by Indah at the front desk and the check in process was very quick and easy. Everything I requested at the time of booking was well catered for. Upon entering the room, we were amazed by the spaciousness of the hotel room. The bed was very spacious and soft, very comfortable to sleep on. The bathroom was also clean and spacious. The shower was very strong and as a plus, there was a bathtub. On our first night, the hotel crew surprised my wife, who happened to be celebrating a birthday. This is something we have never experienced during our stay at any hotel, a personal birthday surprise to my wife, which made her very touched. The hotel crew that I need to give appreciation to are: 1. Indah (receptionist) 2. Mr. Rocky (duty manager) 3. Liang (F&B service) 4. Rio (Beldriver) For those four names, we are very honored to get the surprise. Thanks guys! Too bad we didn't get a photo with you guys. Besides that, the gym, sauna and jacuzzi are our favorite spots. This hotel is definitely highly recommended. Besides its very strategic location.

My stay at Ramayana was truly exceptional! The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable experience. The rooms were spotless, modern, and well-equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect, within walking distance of major attractions and offering easy access to public transportation. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of delicious options, and the overall ambiance was both stylish and serene. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting kuta

Very comfortable stay, the bed, pillows, room - everything was great! Such a pity we didn’t get to use the huge bathtub - the hotel even provides a flower bath service. Great location along the chill Sanur beach area, with lots of food, shopping and massage places within walking distance. Buffet breakfast was average - we didn’t find it that enticing. Took a while to get our coffee and plates cleared even though staff were aplenty.

Having experienced the magic of Sudamala Resort in Senggigi, Lombok, my anticipation ran high for their Sanur resort – and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we stepped through the entrance until our departure, we were enveloped in genuine Balinese hospitality. The resort's soul reveals itself through thoughtfully curated details: traditional architecture, manicured gardens, carefully positioned artwork, and striking sculptures that capture Bali's essence. The staff's attentiveness manifested in countless ways, from offering mosquito incense at dusk to sheltering guests with umbrellas during rain showers. The culinary journey at Ares Restaurant proved to be a highlight of our stay. The breakfast package, which I heartily recommend, presents an abundant à la carte menu featuring both Indonesian and Western cuisine. Each morning began with fresh fruit platters and an array of beverages, from freshly squeezed juices to aromatic coffee. Our lunch and dinner experiences were equally impressive, with the kitchen team demonstrating remarkable flexibility in accommodating special requests. What truly sets Sudamala apart is their commitment to excellence. When we noticed a minor service discrepancy and shared our feedback, the management team responded swiftly and effectively, demonstrating their dedication to continuous improvement. The resort's team deserves individual recognition. The gardeners maintain stunning landscapes, while the lobby and restaurant staff deliver consistently outstanding service. Several team members left lasting impressions: Kelvin, a trainee who enhanced our beach experience with his attentive service; Dewi at Ares, whose warmth and efficiency made every meal special; and Wida from the concierge team, whose deep knowledge of Bali and engaging conversations added rich cultural context to our stay. As I plan my next adventure to Sudamala's Labuan Bajo property, I'm already anticipating the distinctive charm and excellence that has become synonymous with the Sudamala brand. Two properties down, and my journey through their collection of exceptional resorts continues. A Practical Note for Sanur Visitors: - The location of the hotel is approximately 7 minutes walk from the beach and 10-15 minutes from a variety of restaurants close by. Icon Bali is the newly built shopping centre that's a short Grab/Gojek journey away. Grand Lucky is the large supermarket to visit for Indonesian treats. - For fitness enthusiasts staying at the resort, while the hotel's own gym is under construction, I highly recommend Paradise Bali nearby – a well-equipped facility that’s in close proximity. - As with any tropical paradise, insects are part of the experience. The warm climate of Asia means you'll encounter mosquitos, flies, and ants, particularly during evening hours outdoors. While the hotel expertly manages these natural visitors, you can enhance your comfort by requesting candles from the staff – they're particularly effective when dining or sitting outside. Consider packing citrus-based personal products as well.

Loved the interior of the room, very Balinese style room with a bath tub, the room size is good and very affordable.. hotel location other wise is really out of no where, not close to any restaurants or convenient store. Luckily we can order grab.. but still not much activity available in the hotel except for massage and spa, pool bar is not open, no one actually goes to the pool. It's near to nature so quite a bit of insects.. Staff and friendly and helpful.. There is only 1 restaurant and price wise is not cheap and food is not nice as well.. we were given bread and butter before our meal but even our butter is tasteless,unsalted.. the curry is very watery.. I guess after trying so many nice food around Asia, our taste buds can be quite picky so for the price paid, the food does not satisfy our desire for good food.
