Breakfast is an excellent option with many Chinese and western choices in a unique setting. The staff is modestly bilingual and attentive. Good choices in Chinese restaurants about a 10 minute walk away. Rooms are large and very clean. Most western guests will find the internet access challenging. The Yungang caves are a 20 minute taxi ride. Downtown’s temples are 10 minutes away.

My room had a direct view of Yingze park and the night scene was spectacular. The hotel’s breakfast buffet features an amazing collection of local delicacies and it was hard not to overeat. The Chinese restaurants serve outstanding dishes. The front desk staff are polite and helpful. Ms Wang Zewei was especially helpful. I would absolutely return time.

Taxis plentiful and inexpensive. Nightly dinner was at the hotel restaurant - good food, surprisingly very affordable prices and extremely good services from the staff. What stood out most were the very helpful, cheerful staff, at the front desk, restaurants, and cleaners!

The hotel is located in a good location near shops Nd the old town sights. The rooms are large and the service on the executive floor was excellent, fresh fruit everyday not just once. The restaurant and room service are open lunch and diner time only, no late meals. Extensive breakfast is available. There is a bar but did not see many users. Did not see any gym or pool but it is possible I missed them. The bed was very comfortable and the high speed station (less than 2 hours to Beijng) is about 30 minutes away by taxi. Very enjoyable would revisit.

Conveniently located next to a plethora of good eats including 喜晋道 and the ever popular 霸王茶姬，the friendly yet non-intrusive service staff provided excellent service throughout of 4 day stay. Engaging their 商务车 for 2 days to explore around Datong was a great decision as the staff service extended to having hot beverages, biscuits and fruits ready for us coming in from the cold weather. The same service extends to breakfast for which a spread of home cooked dishes are made fresh daily. A great stay and highly recommended.
