Hotel Dengan Bar di Shandong, China

Exceptional stay in this magnificent hotel. The location is top (next to everything), the hostesses were at the top from the beginning to the end of the stay (available and listening if necessary), the cleanliness of the hotel (thanks to the housekeepers). Nothing to add except, THANK YOU FOR ALL!!!

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay here. Since I arrived earlier than I had informed the front desk and before check-in is usually possible, I did not expect to be able to check-in right away, but the receptionist made sure that my room was cleaned right away, so I only had to wait two to three minutes. The room was very nice and spacious, I would have liked a chair, but other than that I had everything I needed. There is a bus stop directly in front of the building and the metro is just around the corner which makes it easy to get to the city center. I wish I had stayed longer than one night

This is not your top five-star hotel, if that's what you're after. I've seen much better ones. BUT, I somehow had the best swimming beach vacation since 1975 at this hotel. Problems: 1) worn-out towels: 2) no clothing cupboard; 3) no bathrobes; 4) smallish room size; 5) noone speaks English at the check-in desk 6) no in-room safe. Havingg said that, I REALLY enjoyed a simple swimming beach vacation at this holiday. They clean up my room when I asked them to; They don't bother you when you're there; they're friendly when you check in or out. And there's a common refrigerator at the check-in desk if you really need to have your food to be preserded for a couple of days. One problem: DIDi cars have a hard time accessing you: the road outside the Hoel is pretty much heavily-used, so get ready to facing difficulties when getting to your DIDI ride... Overall, a very positive outlook. Will definitely come again Positives: 1) Great Location. The selling point of this hotel is its excellent location, an easy stroll to the seaside promenade and directly opposite the Wego Mall with its plethora of shopping and eating places. The breakfast spread is also vast, with cooking stations serving freshly prepared dumplings, noodles and chicken soup in addition to a range of fruits and pastries over and above the usual breakfast staples. There is even sushi. Breakfast is taken in a beautifully appointed room. The reception staff are generally cordial but special praise has to be accorded to Miss 阎晓彤 who is exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. Our room on the 16th floor has full length windows overlooking Liugong island. But the housekeeping could be improved - the carpet needed a more thorough vacuuming - even though the chambermaid was very friendly indeed.

The room is spacious, bed is comfortable, shower is hot, the air conditioner is good, with speed and coolness control. The floor is carpeted so it feels less cold in winter. The lighting is bright and sufficiently installed throughout the room. The hotel is located just 10 mins walk to the adjacent ”Nine Dragon” shopping mall where you can buy all sorts of groceries. The hotel has a heated Olympic-sized swimming pool and a good gym with all types of equipment. The hotel provided free bikes for Guest to cycle throughout the city. Good breakfast variety with all types of Chinese dish, fruits and even alcohol. The hotel service staff delivered fruits to every room and are detailed oriented to the point they open your door while you were still sleeping to place it inside the room. This was the 2nd time I stayed in this hotel and can see the same hotel staff, meaning a strong employee retention by the hotel.
