Hotel Dengan Gym di Merseyside, Inggris Raya

Hotel was a little run down and the rooms were only to be expected for being around 150+ year old hotel, the bathroom was a little updated and pleasant. The lifts were very bad and non responsive, had to walk down the stairs which is not ideal if we had mobility issues, the breakfast was, Well let's just say Avoid!! Customer service was a little bit patronising to say the least. All in all probably a 3/10 if being kind.

When we arrived, we noticed we had been given a far inferior room than we've ever had before. The view was terrible. There was no fridge which we have always had before and the room looked 'tired'...in need of TLC. I went to reception to tell them I was not happy. Anyway they did sort it. Gave us another room with a better view and the young girl on reception brought us an old, but working mini fridge.. so it worked out OK in the end ( I need a fridge to put some of my medication in.) Another lady on the desk was very curt when I said there was no fridge and stated....not all rooms automatically have a fridge in them. Sorry but I thought they did. Whoever makes loose leaf tea in the restaurant needs to learn it is 1 tsp of tea per person and 1 for the pot. In this case 3tsp of tea and not half a teapot full. I kid you not. See pic below. We got a refund for some of the tea, but nit for the cream tea my friend had. My friend had ordered a cream tea and me, just a tea. Yet they brought a pot of tea for 2, which is the wrong etiquette for an order like this. Hence we only got 2 cups out of it, because of the amount of loose tea in there. I think I have been spoiled by the superior standard of the rooms, when we have stayed before....I just presumed all their rooms would be like this

Lokasinya sangat bagus, dekat dermaga, sangat dekat dengan pusat kota dan tempat wisata, serta nyaman untuk bersantap. Lingkungan dan layanan hotel cukup baik, dan sarapannya juga enak. Kejutan yang menyenangkan adalah meskipun saya tidak menyebutkan keanggotaan IHG, mereka memberi saya lebih dari 300 poin setelahnya – tidak banyak, tetapi itu menunjukkan ketulusan mereka. Selain itu, saya akhirnya mengerti apa arti ”kamar bebas hambatan”; ternyata itu adalah kamar untuk penyandang disabilitas, hampir seperti lelucon! 🤣

my wife and I had a very enjoyable weekend break at Ropewalks. the hotel was centrally located, which suited us as we were away without kids and wanted to make the most of that. breakfast was your standard fare, but there was a chef cooking to order. the service staff at breakfast were excellent. would recommend for a boozy city break. thr hotel is neat to a lot of late bars and night clubs which was noisy and may be an issue for some travelers.

We checked in really late/early hours in the morning, and had a problem with payment, which the bloke on reception was not sure how to resolve it as he did not usually handle payments etc, however, it was instantly resolved by the amazing receptionist who couldn’t have been any more apologetic. Room was very clean and tidy. Bed was very comfortable. The superior rooms all seem to be slightly different, but are all nice

He should ask me nicely without pushing me because i didn’t wear ring .

Hi, as we were leaving the hotel today I mentioned the cost of our stay was £193.50 for a one night stay with a continental breakfast! There was no kitchen facilities to offer a cooked breakfast or food. I feel this is soo expensive, your sight had no mention of the kitchen being closed or the replacement of a cooked breakfast with a basic continental option. I also mentioned the room 208 was tatty with stains on the carpet, the toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall. It was mentioned that because Everton were playing at home that’s why the cost went up!! I understand economics but to increase the cost by nearly £120 is ridiculous. We have stayed at the Aloft on a number of occasions but feel we won’t be returning in a hurry. Can you please look into my comments. I would appreciate some form of refund or compensation. This hotel was excellent! Ideally situated for the M and S Arena, the Albert Dock and Liverpool 1 shopping area. It is literally 15 mins walk from Lime Street Station. Check in was done online and key was ready to collect via a machine in the foyer. I'm not 100% keen on this as I do like the personal contact with the reception. Had to go there to ask for breakfast details so in future would probably just check in there anyhow, but the option is there if you prefer that. The room on the 4th floor was really nice, clean and comfortable. Slight grumbles were regarding the bed being a bid hard and the small shelf, rather than a table in front of the mirror. Breakfasts were excellent, a very wide range of good quality choices. The lounge and dining areas were very clean, modern and well designed. All staff were very pleasant. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Liverpool. It was excellent value in comparison to others we have visited in the city in the past. Will definitely be back! It was lovely being in Liverpool it’s a nice place and the hotel too buh some delay on house keeping and I didn’t like where my room was located,they should give a chance of opting a preference..
