I made a reservation for one day because it is right next to the Chinese border. The facilities are clean and the balcony view is good. There is a local market a little further down. The cafe in front of the hotel also has a nice feel. The TV has Netflix and YouTube. It was a hot day. I stayed comfortably. Recommended. Grab is good to go to Lao Cai Station, but I didn't use it. If you go to the market, there are auto riders. You can just grab their hand signals. ww
It was my first time staying in Lao Cai, and the woman at the front desk was smiling and the room was very clean. There is also a restaurant and massage facilities on site, and there are markets and places to eat nearby. It was great to be able to see the Song Hong River from the room.
Affordable yet surprisingly great hostel with helpful staff. The tour guide who took me hiking in the mhong village is also energetic and informative. Recommended for those who are looking for nice but great one.
Good comfy beds, around a 20 minute walk to the town but also can order a grab or taxi to the hotel. Reccomend going on a treck through the rice fields. Good AC and tv that worked.
It was an amazing experience to visit Sapa. I stayed there for 2 days. The owner is very friendly, he also helped me book a bus to Hanoi. And if you are still confused about what activities to do there, there are many tour packages that you can take offered by the hostel. So I recommend this place for short visits and also for solo travelers. Thank you..
The view is good, but the rooms are not particularly clean. There is a lot of humidity and a strange smell. The breakfast does not include any drinks, and you can choose between one serving of rice, noodles, or dumplings. I believe that you can find better alternatives for the same price in Sapa. The staff does not speak English.
Offering a garden, The Dang's Home in Lao Cai offers accommodations in Pho Mới. The property is around 23 miles from Fansipan Legend Cable Car Station, 21 miles from Sa Pa Lake, and 21 miles from Sa Pa Bus Station. Muong Hoa Valley is 28 miles away, and Silver Waterfall is 28 miles from the guest house.
Units come with a private bathroom, and some units at the guest house have a terrace.
Sa Pa Stone Church is 21 miles from the guest house, while Ham Rong Garden - Ham Rong Mountain is 21 miles from the property.
This property is a family-run hotel, so guests should not expect the level of service typically found at chain hotels with dedicated departments.
Location is a major advantage — the hotel is situated in the center of Sapa, within walking distance to SunWorld Fansipan Legend, making it convenient for sightseeing.
Accommodation and Facilities: The facilities are basic and reflect the nature of a budget or mid-range guesthouse. Rooms are equipped with physical keys, and electricity is activated via a plastic key insert. Soundproofing is minimal, and room construction is modest, with noticeable gaps above doors and large interior windows that may affect privacy.
The hotel lacks an intercom system and, assistance is provided by family members. Guests need to use their personal phones to contact the owners if support is needed.
Dining: The breakfast offering is limited and home-cooked, as the hotel does not employ a professional chef. This may not meet the expectations of travelers looking for a more standardized hotel dining experience.
Maintenance and Condition: Furniture and room amenities appear dated, with some fixtures squeaky or partially functional. While basic repairs are made, the overall maintenance standard could be improved to meet modern hospitality expectations.
Overall: While the price is competitive for the location, guests should be aware that the experience is closer to a guesthouse or budget homestay than a professionally operated hotel.

WWeeDidn’t get to see the scenery due to the fog but it is not the hotel’s fault. However, the cold wind was seeping through the balcony doors making the entire room super cold even with the air conditioning heating mode on.
The buffet breakfast was great, staff was helpful in terms of allowing early check in, and location wise it is just a short walk to Sun Plaza and nice restaurants in the area!
Would def come back when the weather is a lot better!

김김명자The food is delicious and the price is good
I am impressed by the owner's kindness and quick response
The view is really fantastic.
I stayed like it was my home
When staying for multiple nights, the room needs to be cleaned and the towels need to be changed
It's a shame that the noise from the next room is not blocked
We also need cucumber pickles and white rice porridge for Koreans.
GGuest UserFirstly, the staff are friendly and helpful, you can be put in touch with a good driver for transport, book fansipan mount and just ask them for more info. The rates are inexpensive so it is fair value. Better heating would be nice, it was just adequate on what was a cold week with temperatures of 8-11 degress celcius, which was unseasonal. There are restaurants, cafes, atm's and a laundry all just minutes away at most. If you want a budget stay or last minute booking as it was for me, it was the right place. The views from the balcony to your door was rasther nice.
HhbenedictWe arrived at SA PA early at 4:30 in the morning, so we had to pay 200,000 VND for early check-in. This is the same rule. No problem.
The room was very good, very clean and comfortable. There is an elevator, so it is very good.
The problem is that the old model is a water heater. The sputum can be washed for 25 minutes. If the hot water is used up by the previous person, you have to wait for the water to heat up before you can take a bath. Otherwise, it is very cold. It is convenient to go anywhere in the hotel. From the hotel point to the hotel, you can see the lake. Then go all the way through the city, then to SA PA station. Go to FansIPAN. There is a SAPA STORY restaurant nearby, and go forward is CAT CAT VILLAGE
张张Objectively speaking, the hotel is very general. At that time, I wanted to find a hotel on the lakeside to see the calm lake. It is indeed the lake opposite. The hotel is too old. I am sorry for the title of four stars. It is possible that this foreigner likes this retro. Mainly the price issue, personally think that it is not worthwhile to choose this hotel. The next night, I found a hotel with 80 yuan next to it, which is better than this facility. The hotel has more than 240 hotels. The only difference is that I can't see the lake! So the benevolent sees the wise and sees wisdom! For a long time, I suddenly came to the hotel, so I remind you by the way.
AAnonymous UserWould definitely return! The owners are the sweetest and loveliest couple. Room was clean, spacious with a nice balcony view, and the owners were always around to give helpful tips or arrange for tours and transportation for us. The boss lady even gave me a toy from her collection for my nephew! Grateful to Botanic Sapa Hotel owners for making our trip to Sapa such a memorable one with their warmth, kindness and thoughtfulness!
GGuest UserWhat an amazing place to stay! The family is so kind and genuinely hospitable — they made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. If you’re traveling at a slower pace like I was, this is the perfect spot to unwind. I loved having the time to relax, read a book, and really soak it all in. It’s one of those rare places where you can truly decompress and just be. Can’t recommend it enough!
