Dashuijing Ancient Architecture Group

Dashuijing Ancient Building Complex is a national AAAA-level scenic spot[1]. It is located in Shuijing Village, Baiyang Town, Lichuan City, Hubei Province, east of Jingchu, Xilian Bayan, north of the Yangtze River Three Gorges Fengjie, south of Hunan Zhangjiajie. It is the fifth batch of key cultural relics protection units in the country announced by the State Council in 2001.

Dashuijing Ancient Building Complex was built during the Qing Qianlong period, by the Li family over the past dynasties, through the late Ming and early Qing, the Republic of China three periods, constantly expanding, gradually forming the Li Manor, Li's Ancestral Hall and Gaoyangtai Li Gai five residential buildings composed of architectural communities. The whole complex is located on the hillside, condescending, easy to guard and difficult to change, very powerful, standing upstairs and looking down, unobstructed. It is said that many spy films and historical dramas such as "Big Water Wells", "Blood oath", and Marshal He Long's two kitchen knives and the revolutionary "God Soldier" are filmed here. Especially the historic well, located under the walls, is very story-like and worth a visit. Because it is located in the mountains of Lichuan, there are very few people who come here to see it and can walk quietly.

People who like history and ancient buildings can be worth a visit. It belongs to the humanistic attractions. We went in the afternoon and felt that there were no people in the attraction. Driving from Lichuan for more than an hour, the round trip is a bit far away.
