If you plan to travel the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, this hotel is your best choice. The bus stop to Ogizawa and Shinano-Omachi station are right in front of the hotel. They also provide luggage forwarding service to Toyama station for those who do the one-way trip on the tateyama kurobe alpine route, which allow you to travel super early as you don't have to wait until the luggage forwarding service (at shinano omachi station) open at 7.50am. The room is clean. The price is reasonable+ come with complimentary breakfast. 10/10 would recommend.

Its one of the best hotel that I found for my trip, is only 3 minutes from station, and have a large room for 3 people. The breakfast also tasty! And the staff can speak English well!

The facilities of the room were great - private bathroom and a toilet, and also pajamas. The room is very small, but it is totally sufficient for a trip.

Hotel service is excellent, room is very clean and breakfast is delicious (Japanese cuisine) . We enjoy staying there for 8 days, 15 minutes walk from Nagano JR line. If you have many luggages on your way back to Nagano JR station (too much shopping done after the trip 😅) suggest you let the hotel staff know they will book a taxi for you ( only cost JY 900). I had a pleasant stay and fully recharge after a short break. Definitely will be back again. ありがとございますた。

Hotel is just a stone throw away from the Matsumoto train station. You have to do self check in. I arrived at the hotel early and hotel staff allowed me to leave my luggage at three hotel while I walk around town till check in time. Many amenities around the area for food. The bus terminal is just opposite the hotel. Visited Matsumoto castle and the city alps park. The park is a must go. You can either hike there or take the city bus from the bus terminal.

I Like the cleanliness of the hotel. Room is spacious. The front desk staff could communicate in English. Good if you drive there. Else, it’s a distance from the train station. St Paul church is just opposite of the hotel. There’s also a Japanese shin nearby. There are good bakery shops nearby for breakfast. We were there on 2 weekdays and there’s not many people and not many shops open. The restaurant next to it serves good pasta and pizza. We had our 2 dinners settled there. Karuizawa is a beautiful place. You may have a morning jog nearby and it’s so serene running around.

My return visit to the hotel as it was a very convenient place for short stay before venturing to the alpine hiking trails. This time, I managed to enjoy the natural Onsen at another hotel, which was free. It included free transport transferr and towel.

Awesome hotel. Very clean with all amenities you can imagine, like face masks, drip coffee, green tea, bathing salt, creams, lotions, toothbrush and much more! Very friendly staff. Parking was easy just beside the hotel in a parking Tower which costs 1200¥. Perfect location. All major attractions of Matsumoto are close by.

The only downside is that the room we were allocated faces the temple cemetery, which should’ve been told to us earlier upon check in. Other than that, it’s a pretty decent hotel for a quick short stay in Nagano.

Second time staying in a Sotetsu Feeesa Inn hotel and it did not disappoint! Location was just 5 mins walk from the train station. Staff was very nice and friendly. Amenities were self service and was great! 100% recommended to anyone visiting Japan.

Great location, just 5 minute walk from the JR Nagano station. It has a main entrance and a back door entry way. The amenities were fantastic, room is the average size in Japan, a little small for western standards but it was comfortable. We loved the onsen on the 11th floor and the free use of the massage chairs as well as complimentary Popsicles and Soba at night. The breakfast was also lovely, with a main focus on Japanese breakfast (there were a few western dishes available).

I accidentally booked a smoking room instead of a non-smoking one, so I was a bit worried. However, when I got to the hotel, they were fully booked for non-smoking rooms. To my surprise, the smoking room wasn't bad at all! I could barely smell any smoke inside. The floor had a slight smoky scent, but honestly, it didn't bother me. The room was very clean, even by Japanese standards, and had everything I needed. The room was actually a bit bigger than other similar business hotels I've stayed in. The location was perfect, right across from Nagano station. And I got a great deal! If I can find the same rate again, I'd definitely stay here.

The configuration of a fast hotel. You have to arrive at the appointed time to go to the room, but you can check in early and leave your luggage. There are two Toyoko Inns in Nagano Station. When you come out of the station, one is to go out of the Zenkoji Exit, and this one is to go out of the East Exit. Don't go the wrong way. We went to the Zenkoji store first, and then we realized that we made a mistake. The hotel staff is kind and polite, and the service attitude is very good

It is the second time I stayed in Tokyo Inn. It is always in front of the train station at the best locations in various cities. It has everything you need - I particularly like that there is a bathtub no matter what the size of the room is. Breakfast is wholesome. Check in and check out is easy. Great experience.

Highly recommended. The bus station and JR station are only three minutes' walk away. I booked a single room with a bed of 1.4 or 1.5 meters. The room is small, but it is very comfortable for one person. It is very new and clean. The area is small but the design is clever. It has everything. There is also breakfast, which is cost-effective. I stayed for two nights and the breakfast was changed. Recommended, the cost-effectiveness is really good.

This time I once again stayed at one of Dormy Inn hotels located all over Japan. I was able to relax and soothe my daily fatigue by soaking in the hot springs. I also spent the morning running around Matsumoto city, which is my hobby, and enjoyed a delicious breakfast with a wide variety of menu items made with local ingredients. It is very close to the train station and the long-distance bus station, but the room is not noisy at all. The room is relatively simple, and the facilities are not exquisite, but it is clean and comfortable, and the cost performance is high enough. The staff is warm and considerate, and I feel at home.

It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the station to the hotel. The hotel is located next to the Azusagawa River, looking at Mount Rokubai and Mt. Kasumazawa. It takes about 20 minutes to walk up the Azusa River to Kappa Bridge. The hotel environment is very quiet and quiet, and you can occasionally see a few kappa. Monkeys frolic nearby. Needed a cheap hotel for a short overnight stay. The location is right in the middle between the bus station (10 minutes) and Matsumoto Castle (15 minutes). Standard check-in for the Toyoko chain. You check in yourself, but they help you if you don't know how. Breakfast was included in the price. Nothing fancy, but quite nice. You can have soup, coffee, salads. You can even take it with you. Fortunately, you already pack food in a lunch box :))) The only downside we encountered was our lack of understanding of how to use the air conditioner to heat the room. But again, we pressed all the necessary buttons at the reception and came to the room to fix the situation. Of course, it would be ideal to have a description of the air conditioner controls in English.

The location is a bit far. It takes 20 minutes to walk. The only drawback is that there is no elevator on the second floor. If you have large luggage, it is difficult. There are some restaurants nearby. It is a 10-minute walk to the outlet. If you don't want to walk too far from the JR station, you can also take a taxi for ¥900. Overall, it is good. Great choice. Good value for money. The room is big enough! recommend!

One of the best hotel I have stayed in Japan recently. The hotel is new and everything is sparkling clean. Rooms are big and comes with luxury perks usually found in 5 stars hotel like L'Occitane toiletries, 60 inch LED TV, manicure sets (free), ice cubes in pre-packed, etc and not to mention the 2 private onsen (need to reserve online). For the price point, this is a steal. It is walking distance to main shopping street though most shops are closed by 5=6pm. Highly recommended and will definitely stay here again.

Walking distance from the railway station. The reception is very friendly and helpful. The room size is spacious and tidy.

This is my third time staying at this hotel. I upgraded my room. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Yunchang Pond. The breakfast food is very high quality and worth buying. The hotel is as good as ever.

I was worried of the quality due to how cheap the booking was. But I was genuinely surprised how neat the building, lobby, rooms and bathrooms were when we got there. The place was convenient and close to the Outlet and convenience stores (by car) I like how comfort inn is very modern too as they have menu/further info that you can access via QR code once you are in the room. Even if you also place do not disturb on your door, you will still receive fresh towels/linens outside your door. Overall it was a pleasant stay. For those wondering, the front desk is 24/7, so you can check out as early as 3am. The only sad thing is I couldn’t bring my pet. I hope they can lift that policy in the future. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

After traveling for so many years, I must comment on this hotel: I chose this hotel for a summer study tour with my children this year. It is about a 10-minute walk from Karuizawa JR Station. I still walked with my children, and adults may be faster. The location is very good. It is also very convenient to walk to Yuntang Pond, the old Karuizawa shopping area, St. Paul Church, etc. Of course, you can choose to ride a bicycle. A little further south is Ohga Hall Theater and a children's playground. The facilities are very good. The children will play there for two hours every afternoon. The hotel staff is very nice. They called my name as soon as we arrived! And handed me the key. The breakfast is also delicious. Mr. Maruyama, the staff at the front desk, also gave the children ice cream and local Japanese cookies! The little sister who doesn't speak English also used the iPad translation software to understand my request. I couldn't find a shirt in the hotel. The manager Mr. Satou handled it in a very Japanese way. He apologized repeatedly and gave the children traditional Japanese cookies when we left. Because the flight was early in the morning, when we returned to the hotel the night before, the staff on duty at the front desk gave us a bag of food and drinks for breakfast! I have been traveling for so many years, and I have never seen a hotel treat guests like this! When we left at 5:30 in the morning, I thought there would be no one at the front desk so early. When I left the key on the counter, Mr. Maruyama came out, opened the door for us, sent us out, stood at the door of the hotel and said goodbye to us, and watched us leave. When we walked to the intersection and looked back, he was still standing there waving at us. It was a warm and beautiful Japanese way of seeing off guests... There is a toilet in the room but only a washbasin and no bathroom. You have to go to the large public bath on the first floor to take a bath. Although the large public bath on the first floor is not a hot spring, it is quite comfortable to soak in it. There is also a sauna room inside. I didn't book breakfast at the hotel. I rented a bicycle from the front desk in the morning. I rode a bicycle to Kumoba Pond to listen to the birds singing, and then went to SAWAMURA in the old Karuizawa for breakfast. It was very good.
