It is located just a few minutes walking from the pyramid area. It has various types of rooms. However, we were given a different type of room instead of what was booked even though we paid more initially. The view was immense. You could see the pyramid well and clear.

The hotel breakfast was great! There was a wide variety of salads to choose from. However I don’t want to stay again… location was really nice. If you stay just one day I recommend you.

This is the most expensive hotel in this trip to Egypt, more expensive than Sofitel Aswan, but except for the good breakfast and good service, I am not very satisfied with other things. 1. There is only a bathtub, no hand-held shower. 2. There is a musty smell when the room is opened, and the sound insulation is very poor, and the sound of the road outside can be heard clearly. I stayed at Le Meridien Airport Hotel before, and the sound insulation was not so bad. Maybe if you want to stay in this hotel, you must book a room with a pyramid view, so that you will not face the road. 3. There is no Chinese TV, but this is a common problem in Egyptian hotels, and there is no way to solve it. 4. The buffet is very rich, but the chefs have a bad memory. I asked for waffles and muffins, but they didn’t come after 20 minutes. I went to see them, and they immediately reacted and made them for me after a few minutes. It made me eat in a hurry, but the taste was good. Personally, I think this hotel is specially for viewing the pyramids, and other requirements are difficult to meet.

This was a GREAT place to vacation in Cairo. The location was on the river in view of pyramids from our balcony. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We arrived HOURS before check-in and they just went ahead and gave us a room. I was shocked! I will def. be staying here again in the future. I have no complaints, no suggestions for improvement. Everything was beyond my expectation.

Great location for entrance to the Giza pyramids. 5 min walk A lot cleaner and quieter than the other side of Giza (sphinx entrance) where i started my trip 10days earlier.. I booked last minute for my final night stay in Egypt as I was flying out from Sphinx Int.. I was travelling by coach up from Hurghada which got delayed meaning i wouldn’t arrive until 2am, I also had problems with my phone so could not contact to inform. Getting into Cairo when my signal sorted, I received a msg from the Night porter saying He was looking forward to expecting me and to contact if any problems.. Only issue was finding the entrance but Osama came out to meet me in seconds of msging.. He asked what time i would like breakfast and asked if i would like awake up call at said time. Excellent warm friendly service, I had to get a picture with Osama in the morning before he finished his shift just to remember his fantastic warm welcoming smile Will certainly advise anyone to stay here for a great budget boutique hotel experience

I recently stayed at Khan DuiDar Inn in Giza and had a pleasant experience. The hotel was very clean, which made for a comfortable stay. The view of the Pyramids from the terrace was a real highlight and made for a lovely backdrop while relaxing. The staff were also friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive vibe of the hotel. While the neighborhood is quite old and poor, as expected, stepping into the hotel felt like entering a calm oasis. Overall, I recommend Khan DuiDar Inn for anyone visiting Giza. It’s a clean, welcoming place with great views!

The hotel is very suitable for visiting the pyramids. It is about 20 minutes walk from the Sphinx. The top floor restaurant can see the pyramid. The surrounding environment of the hotel is the epitome of Cairo. The reception staff was very welcoming. The restaurant's food tastes good, the dinner included is carefully made according to the requirements, and beer is delivered on the last night. The room is newly renovated, the space is large enough, but the facilities are simple, the quality needs to be improved, and the room WIFI needs to be greatly improved. Trip.com The webpage shows that there is an error, there is no airport shuttle bus, and the pick-up and drop-off fee is $25 per trip, which is much more expensive than Uber.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, always ready to assist with anything I needed. The breakfast was amazing—beautifully served, and you could really see the dedication put into it. The entire hotel was spotless, and when I turned on the shower, I could smell the bleach, which reassured me of the high level of cleanliness. It’s also a very quiet place, perfect for a relaxing stay. One of the best parts is the convenience of having a mini fridge in the room and a Carrefour right next door. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Cairo!

Moreover, I was the only guest staying there, so I had the spectacular view all to myself lol Everyone at the inn was kind, and since there were no other guests, I arrived at 9 o'clock, but they checked me in without any extra charge, and they gave me a welcome drink, friendly greetings, and other things. Personally, I wanted to see the light show at the pyramids and explore Saqqara more, so I plan to try Cairo again! I would definitely book here again then! If I had to point out a negative point, it would be that the entrance door was not properly set up. After struggling for about 10 minutes, a neighbor came to help me, unable to bear the sight, but he was pulling the door inwards while turning the lock. The room is super big, somewhere between Atour and Home Inn in China. At first glance, the hotel looks very new and nice, and the hygiene is OK, but you can see that it is a renovation on the original old facilities. But it is still OK to stay for one or two nights. The hotel service is very good, the restaurant can see the pyramids, and the balcony of the room we booked can also see the pyramids. The view is great and worth the money. The breakfast was good.

Lovely staff who saw to all my needs and paid attention to detail. The location is quite far from the airport but obviously close to the pyramids. I did book the Nile river cruise through the hotel and the driver was quite weird. He stayed with us on the table and it was quite an invasion of our privacy. The hotel will probably call and say they have a free gift offered I.e driving to different stations like the papyrus paper shop and oil store, it’s information but a little waste of time.

Hello everyone! We just flew home from Egypt, spent two days of our vacation in Cairo. Our whole family stayed at the Turquoise Pyramids Gate City Centre hotel. And it was a great choice!!! The hotel is like an oasis of coziness and comfort, amidst the general urban devastation and bustle. The staff is very responsive and friendly, they answered all our questions, helped us deal with some problems, were ready to organize a trip to any attractions and even helped us buy tickets to museums))) The restaurant located on the roof of the hotel deserves special admiration: it is on an open road with a view of the three largest Pyramids!!! If you are lucky enough to stay in Cairo on the day of the laser and music show, I think you can enjoy it right from the hotel!!! (we were unlucky that the show was not held these days. The rooms themselves are excellent, everything is clean, freshly renovated! In the cafe in the evening they make very tasty coffee (breakfasts include diluted coffee, I didn't really like this one). From food we only took breakfasts, they are ordinary, in the Egyptian style, but the view of the pyramids will make any breakfast royal ☺️☺️ I would gladly return to this hotel on my next visit to Cairo.

Very convenient location, right on the Giza plateau. Beautiful views of the pyramids. Staff are very accommodating and really try hard to please with the limited resources that they have. Right on the main road, so quite a lot of traffic noise for the rooms facing the street.

The location is great. You can see the pyramids and the Sphinx from the balcony of the room. The restaurant is completely facing the landscape, and you can see the pyramid light show at night! The breakfast is also delicious, and the staff service is also good. It would be more perfect if the electric water heater is changed to a larger capacity one.

Staff Amazingly friendly and helpful, The views are incredible from room to resturant to roof top, where i got to watch and hear the evening light show in fully glory. Booked for my 1st 2nights in Egypt, perfect location in front of the sphinx side entrance to the plateau, literally a 2 min walk.. This side of Giza is rough and ready though.. with animals being housed on the ally leading to the entrance so expect the smell of horse and camel poo (which wasn’t a problem once in the hotel) also expect to be bothered a lot by the local hustlers and kids begging for something/anything.. The streets are noisy and hectic this side but you also get a more authentic Giza experience, The Hotels staff were super accommodating and welcoming, they were willing to help organise trips and guides but I wasn’t in need as i already had stuff arranged.. Breakfast was basic but enough to get your day of adventure started with plenty of option around for off site dinning. The best thing apart from the staff was the view tho.. with all 3 great pyramids and sphinx in view and close enough to get the full effect inc the sounds of the light show. Would recommend for a cheap budget stay close to the entrance of the plateau with the best views

The hotel is in a good location and has a nice environment. The boss is very enthusiastic and has a stuffed toy named Ai Li. He interacts with dog lovers on the roof every day. It is very cute. They also provide breakfast for two days. The photos on the roof are great. Invincible movie, I will stay here next time
