The hotel room itself was lovely – clean, spacious, and thoughtfully prepared. We felt warmly welcomed by the sweet touch of two towel swans arranged on the bed upon arrival.
However, the breakfast experience was disappointing. Despite offering only a very simple set menu, we waited nearly an hour to be served.
Additionally, when we politely asked the front desk for late checkout due to breakfast delay. We had to fight for a mere 30-min extension.
On the positive side, the hotel’s location is excellent for exploring the beautiful small town, which was truly charming.

The “airport” part of the name here refers to the fact that you can get a shuttle to the airport from the hotel. It’s a little frustrating that it’s so far away from the actual airport.
The room was clean and well appointed, with a fridge and microwave, tv and clock radio. Beds clean and comfortable. I didn’t use the restaurant but the lobby area was clean and well lit. The wifi was fast.

Saya sangat menikmati masa inap saya. Heater & MayQueen sangat ramah dan memberikan layanan pelanggan, komunikasi, dan lainnya yang luar biasa. Mereka berdua adalah wanita luar biasa yang membantu saya menikmati masa inap yang telah saya rencanakan untuk merayakan ulang tahun ibu saya. Kami sangat menikmati masa inap kami, pemandangan Air Terjunnya luar biasa indah. Saat check-in, saya mendapatkan diskon untuk meningkatkan pengalaman menginap kami atau memberi kami aktivitas tambahan. Pemandangan dari restoran di lokasi cukup bagus dan akan lebih baik jika ada lebih banyak pilihan, tetapi makanannya enak. Secara keseluruhan, pengalaman menginap yang luar biasa!

I really like the location and staff! The rooms are big enough with a very comfortable bed. There is a wings restaurant on site which has nice food. It is near the casino. I enjoyed my stay here

We are happy to stay in doubletree … the room is clean and good fit with family and kids… also our room can see the fireworks…. And I checked with front desk, all the rooms can view the fireworks. I definitely will come back to this hotel again.

TTamuKarena saya telah tinggal di hotel ini sebelumnya, saya tahu apa yang diharapkan. Konon, hotel ini menunjukkan umurnya dan harus dikembalikan ke status aslinya. Ini menjadi lebih jelas mengingat pembaruan terbaru ke hotel (rantai besar) tepat di samping Crowne Plaza. Tapi secara keseluruhan tinggal itu masih sangat menyenangkan. Akan menyarankan bahwa server restoran tidak mencoba mengejar tip mereka berdasarkan tanda terima yang menunjukkan harga asli untuk sarapan ketika tidak termasuk dalam tarif menginap per malam. Ini sedikit berlebihan, terutama mengingat server hanya membawa kopi dan peralatan makan bening, *****tara para tamu mendapatkan makanan mereka sendiri di prasmanan. Mungkin para tamu harus menerima tip (tertawa).

TTamuThe hotel is ideally situated of the front of the lake with the ferries to the islands just outside. An underground stop is just across the road with links to Union station and elsewhere. There are also a selection of buses that pass and a hop on hop off stop is about 10 mins walk. You can walk most places in central Toronto from hotel if you wish and are happy walking. You can choose which street suits you best on your walk and change route for variation as only a block apart and will all get you to central Toronto. You are maybe about 15 mins from the Blue Jays and CN tower so hotel is in a great location. Billy Bishop airport is about a 20 min walk and would be convenient if you can get flights to or from there to your destination. The communal areas in the hotel look very nice, as is the entrance if being dropped off by car. However there is work going on around the outside of the hotel and if walking to and from the hotel it isn’t so pleasant on the eye. My bedroom was spacious but felt dated and would be nice to see a more updated look. However the view onto the lake more than made up for that minor irritation. The staff were all great and helpful when asked. There was various things going on from regular activities in the leisure area to free ice cream and wine ( not together unfortunately ) and music in the afternoon. The leisure facilities were great with a pool, sauna, steam room and gym as well as an outside area (5th floor) for sitting outside while the kids could play. There was a tennis court and a basket ball hoop. There was also an oppertunity to use cycles and go for a run possibly with a guide. We didn’t eat at the hotel so couldn’t comment but the did have a restaurant on the top of there south tower that would give great views. We did grab a coffee and snack from across the street and would enjoy sitting on the benches just along from the hotel looking into the lake in the morning. All in all one of the older hotels ( I think) in a great location with great views and facilities which met our needs.

TTamuWhen it's sounds like Radisson Blu, people may think of a 4-star hotel, but my experience with Radisson Blu was not so amused. The miscommunication started since we checked in. On Trip.com, it said we can have a buffet style breakfast with $25 per person, but upon asking them, they said it's a la carte and have to pay at the restaurant. There was no buffet available. They asked me to send an e-mail to confirm is the information about the breakfast is accurate as it mentioned in trip.com sadly no one responded to my e-mail until the hours of breakfast ( 8- 11 am ) and we had not breakfast in the morning.
The room is okay. It is not as exciting as it sounds like Radisson Blu. I had experience staying in Radisson blu in other countries, but the room quality they had there is not even as comparable with Radisson blu toronto downtown. The room in Radisson blu toronto downtown is like the same as some random hotel. The coffee machine was really dirty. When we complained at the front desk, they did not send any replacement. Another thing is that no dental kits were provided as it should provide in all 4 star hotels. Upon requesting at the front desk, they send us dental kits like an hour later.
While checking out the front desk lady, she was a trainee. I showed him the picture of the dirty coffee machine and explained our dissatisfaction. She said she couldn't do any compensation since the room was pre-paid. In return she offered me some bottle of water for our trip 😄. I mean, I don't need a water bottle as compensation. Then she offered me that the parking would be on the house. Now, I am waiting for the return of my $100 security deposit.
Apart from that the location of the hotel is very cool and convenient. Just in the herat of downtown. The CN tower was visible just from the window of our room.
Considering everything it does not meet the standard of a 4-star hotel.

TTamuI stayed for three days with my daughter for a mom and daughter trip. Appearance is beautiful and desk staff was nice and helpful but I don’t think the room we stayed is appropriate for guests who pay for it. I chose this place for a free parking and close to YYZ.
The room was incredibly small and structurally wrong for people to move inside the room. The washroom door fully didn’t open and the ceiling was very low so I had to be very careful not to bump my head to the ceiling. The room picture they posted on the website looked great and cozy but that isn’t important anymore if we can’t move around. One more, they had a wedding party on the second day and very loud music was on by 1 am and next day there was another party but it wasn’t that loud. You have to check if they have party guests during your staying before you book.

TTamuI was initially apprehensive about staying in an ”old” hotel, but my worries came to rest. It was similar to a cottage theme with very clean rooms and adequate amentities. Staff were always very friendly, greeting us everytime we leave and return to the hotel, and responds promptly to our housekeeping requests. 10 minutes from the hotel, there is a park with a calming stream, a great place to rest and rewind from the busy city life. Nearest train station is just 5 minutes walk away, and a 30-45 minutes car ride to downtown. Some downsides though, there are no nearby restaurants besides the one in the hotel, and no nearby supermarkets. Utensils were not provided in the room so be prepared to bring your own set. Hotel lifts seem a bit worn out but had not broken down during my stay. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay given the calm surrounding vibes and amazing service. I would consider returning in the future

TTamuSaya memesan hotel ini untuk 1 malam untuk menghadiri pernikahan. Saya memilih kamar dengan bak mandi agar saya bisa menikmatinya setelah perjalanan panjang. Satu jam sebelum waktu check-in, mereka memberi tahu saya bahwa kamar saya sudah siap. Ketika saya masuk ke kamar, semuanya dibersihkan kecuali bak mandi, yang memiliki helaian rambut wanita di dekat saluran pembuangan dan seluruh bak mandi dilapisi residu balsem mandi. Saya memberi tahu resepsionis bahwa saya akan pergi pukul 5:30-10, jika mereka bisa meminta seseorang untuk membersihkan kamar saya. Ketika saya pergi untuk menggunakan pancuran dan saya tidak tahu bahwa segel di bawah pintu tidak berfungsi, itu membanjiri seluruh area. Saya membutuhkan 3 handuk besar untuk membersihkan semua air. Saya juga menyebutkan hal ini ke resepsionis tetapi mereka mengatakan mereka tidak memiliki lagi tipe kamar saya. Spa yang termasuk adalah sentuhan yang bagus tetapi menurut saya kapasitasnya terlalu kecil untuk hotel sebesar itu. Saya tidak bisa mendapatkan satu bukaan pun jadi saya membayarnya secara cuma-cuma. Mereka akhirnya tidak membersihkan bak mandi, jadi saya tidak sempat menggunakannya sebelum saya harus check out. Sarapan yang saya bayar tidak sepadan dengan harganya. Semuanya terlalu asin, bahkan tidak panas lagi. Pihak hotel memang memotong $45 dari harga kamar saya atas ketidaknyamanan ini, dan meminta maaf, tetapi secara keseluruhan, harga yang saya bayar tidak sepadan. Saya tidak akan kembali ke sini lagi.
Mereka bilang iya. Saya kembali ke kamar saya.
