RRip RipWas expecting more given the price we paid, apparently already considered low season.
The pool lagoon was disappointing and expected higher standards, more staff and cleanliness.
Hotel restaurant food expensive unless gambling and apparently would have great discount.
Room service was good and value for money.
Expected small amenities like free bottled water to be more generous given the heat. Apparently just 2 bottles per check in although we stayed 2 nights .
Bathroom and toiletries reasonable although bathroom door had a drum which made it inconvenient to open as door swung closed automatically ..

HHuzaifa EssajeeI was travelling with friends and this was the only suitable option in the summer if you wanted to hike Kings Canyon as Kings Creek was closed. There is a kitchen with a fridge and freezer where you can store your food, with kitchen equipment available for hire from reception. It's nice to cool off and relax in the swimming pool after a long drive from Alice Springs. You'll be able to see a bunch of wildlife if it's nice and quiet. We could see the Field of Lights from outside our room which was an added bonus. Showers are comfortable, however they could provide soap like other places to make it convenient. Check-in and check-out was smooth. Fuel is cheaper here than other fuel stations enroute so it's best to top up before you leave to avoid being stranded. I'd happily stay here again in the height of summer as it's a good rest point.

TTamuThe hotel is located walking distance to City Center and smith street mall. Even waterfront restaurants and bars are just 15 mins. walk apart. The taxi transfer airport to hotel takes less than 20 minutes.
Friendly reception staff arranged a change of our desired bed configuration upon notice. Rooms are basic but spacious.
Nice restaurant on premises available for lunch, dinner and its where you got the complementary breakfast.
Will stay here again definitely, when in town next time.

No where to put large take away containers in the bin.
There was a dental pick in our shower on the towel rail for a few days, the cleaners obviously didn’t see it. I ended up chucking ito it myself.
Freezer in bar fridge didn’t freeze, fridge not real cold either.
I asked for extra quilt and towel - great service with that.
Breakfast great. Coffee really good.

GGraeme CoulterStayed overnight on a Friday at H on Mitchell Street in Darwin, CBD and had a really good experience overall. Check in and check out were both quick and hassle free, which made things easy after a long day. The room was clean, well presented, and comfortable, with air conditioning that worked well in the Darwin heat. The TV (Foxtel) was a nice bonus to relax with in the evening. We also had dinner and drinks at the Lizard restaurant, which was a highlight, great atmosphere and an enjoyable meal. Parking is available on site (paid), which is convenient for those driving into the city. Close to Parap for the Saturday morning Laksa from the Markets.
Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay right in the CBD. Would happily stay again.

FFancyTravelA 5 star rated and cost hotel with nice amenities and outdoor environment. Room is very spacious and faces the garden. Hotel food pricing expensive and not worth the cost as there is a much better option at the Desert in the Garden hotel under same group. Also staff service could do with more friendly smiles and welcoming attitudes. Not sure if they are part timers or working holidays staff since some show their inexperience in service. Other areas for improvement are insufficient signage of directions in such huge resort hotel, no room number on the desk phone in room, stains found on walls in bathroom and in toilet bowl (due to minerals in flushing water from the area per management explanation).
