The only regret was staying there for just one night, wish we had stayed longer. Will definitely choose to stay at Luganodante again if we are back. Thank you team! IMPORTANT TIP: please take the funicular - Lugano Città - from the Lugano Stazione to the hotel (just stop outside the hotel, very convenient). We booked the boutique Hotel, as we visited Moon and Stars in Ascona. For a night a _Super tip. Disadvantage, despite cleanliness, location, etc. no house, similar to Motel one in all places of Europe. Week can't stay there. But we had great.

We could get into the room at 1400 instead of 1500. Because we wanted separate beds, and these were only in the higher category, we were simply ”upgraded”, just top. Also the extra bed for our 5-year-old daughter was mega comfortable. It was all very clean and the daily cleaning was Super. We are and were just excited. We will certainly come back. Excellent in all! Absolutely wonderful location (only accessible with taxi) whether day or night! A wonderful DeLuxe room with sea view! The size, the materials of highest quality and finest design. Eat excellent in the Bistro, since full booked in the restaurant! Unfortunately only one night a.Gr. of much work also in Lugano (visit a super performance in the art and culture center). The fitness/sauna was unfortunately closed, but private spa was bookable before departure Sunday morning ... good alternative. The gardens around the sky! The team was super professional, extremely friendly and helpful. Good and dream of my next visit to Villa Leopold ...Heartly recommended for enjoying the fine and good ... Denise Worlds in Zurich

after baddest experience with ibis, I must admit this is a very nice hotel, just 5min walk from the train slation, just a little higher up, offering a nice view of the lake even from lateral hotel windows. modern ambiente, upgraded facilities, comfy lobby and fast WiFi, will chose this again in march.
