PPengguna Anonim💯💯💯 recommend Lindartun Guesthouse! Stayed here for 1 night on 1st October 2024 after our drive to Highlands and got here when it was already dark but i loved the drive to the junction from the main road to the guesthouse. It was pretty dark around the area which we thought we could be lucky for aurora sightings but it was cloudy. Luckily, I asked the owner when was the last aurora sighting at the guesthouse and she immediately opened her laptop and that’s when I found put there’s aurora forecast website in Iceland. She was the one that let us know there’s higher chance to spot aurora on the upcoming friday due to clear sky. Oh btw, for our check-in process, when I first arrived and entered the guesthouse, please take off your shoes by the entrance, and go to reception area infront of the kitchen and take the house phone to call the owner. We booked room no. 5 which cones with a sofa bed and the long toom was so cute and cozy. This is the cutest guesthouse room design among all 13 accoms across the country during our trip. I really loved it a lot as the room was long and spacious. The common dining area was really nice and big which I didn’t really spend time here. But I used the kitchen the next morning to boil hot water and make myself my hot chocolate and instant mushroom soup. Worth my money. Will book again if I visit Iceland again next time! How I’d described it: Lindartun (Cute Cozy Homey Vibe) Room Type: 1 Queen Bed + 1 Sofa Bed Toilet: Private Bathroom (clean and big) Perks: Nice kitchen and dining area Thank you for helping me out with my aurora hunting and for maintaining a really cute and nice guesthouse, owner!

TTamuThe hotel was in a good location, and breakfast was great! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we booked this place to use the hot tubs and when we arrived they weren’t filled. I called reception twice to have someone check out the issue but nobody ever came. It was really unfortunate since we had gotten caught in the wind and rain so our bones felt frozen. I decided to have a bath instead but the tub couldn’t hold water haha it was a series of unfortunate events.
