My goodness‼️ Who would have thought that the Big Island of Hawaii could be so much fun? There's not only volcanoes but also waterfalls, turtle beaches, and plenty of water activities. Hurry up and get it planned! Day 1 Atlantis Submarine - Mauna Kea Volcano Stargazing A must-experience signature activity on the Big Island, though a bit pricey. Follow the submarine down dozens of meters under the sea, with no discomfort, and rich marine life, complete with explanations. In the evening, you can go stargazing at Mauna Kea. Coming to this volcano is like arriving on Mars, so cool! At night, you can see many stars, as if you are in the Milky Way. Day 2 Rainbow Falls - Punalu'u Black Sand Beach - Hawaii Volcanoes National Park The first stop on the way to the volcano park is Rainbow Falls. The waterfall is not big, surrounded by tropical plants. Whether you can see a rainbow depends on your luck. Next, head to the black sand beach, where many people snorkel, kayak, and stand-up paddleboard. It is also a famous turtle beach locally, and you really can see turtles! Of course, the last stop is the volcano park, where you can hike and see the state bird of Hawaii. In the evening, the volcano begins to appear faintly, so magical. 🏫Accommodation Tips: The Big Island is a magical area, with one city sunny all year round and the other rainy. Although Hilo is closer to the volcano, I still recommend staying in sunny Kona. It's relatively more bustling here, with more accommodation options. We stayed in a whole Airbnb for less than $600 a night.
