How beautiful are the sea salt farms in Hawaii?

The other is to make small pots with volcanic mud to hold seawater, collect salt after drying, and this will get red salt with volcanic minerals. Hawaii belongs to one of the Polynesian nations. In the oldest past, they traveled to other islands by canoe, bringing back some crops or animals. During the long journey at sea, they needed to bring some salted fish on the boat as a food supplement. Therefore, sea salt was a sacred existence in the life of ancient Hawaiians. Even today, Hawaiians will give sea salt as a gift to newlyweds as a blessing at their weddings, and it also has the meaning of dispelling bad luck. The location of our sea salt factory was formed after the coastline was pushed forward 1.6 kilometers after the volcanic eruption in 1801. Along the coastline, you can reach the 300-meter-deep seabed just one hundred meters ahead, and one kilometer further is the 1000-meter-deep seabed, so it is easy to obtain deep sea cold water, and the sea salt is made from the seawater at about 2 degrees Celsius below 700 meters. This part of the cold seawater basically does not move much, so it can provide stable, high-quality, and impurity-free seawater. Currently, this is the only place in the world that uses deep sea water to make sea salt, which has 30% more minerals than the common salt we eat. It is natural and pollution-free. Visiting here not only allows you to understand the modern process of sea salt from seawater to high-quality salt, but also to understand the geology and seawater knowledge of the Big Island. I really like the scenery of the coastline of the sea salt factory, with white beaches, black rocks and vegetation, which is very beautiful. The person in charge of the factory said that weddings and some parties can still be held here currently.
