Starting my day as early as 3 am from Bandung, I set out in the stillness of pre-dawn. It takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach Kawah Putih, and by 4:30 am, I arrive at the entrance. The cool mountain air welcomes me as I start the 20-minute hike to the top of Sunan Ibu. The path is lit by my flashlight and the soft light of early morning.
