The Oath of Three Kings by the Ing River in Phu Kam Yao City

🏡 The Land of Three Kings, also known as the Royal Park of Three Kings (Sob Rong Khui) or the Monument of the Three Kings' Pact, is located at the Sob Rong Khui archaeological site by the Sai River or Ing River. It is believed to be the place where three kings—King Ngam Muang, King Mangrai, and King Ramkhamhaeng—performed a blood oath and drank water together to pledge their friendship and cooperation in establishing the capital of Lanna, naming it Nopburi Sri Nakornping Chiang Mai in 1296. 🙏 The province of Phayao has erected this monument to remind future generations of the contributions of the Lanna kings and their ancestors.
