📍Pengzhou Shizishan Outdoor Fitness Trail You can drive directly to the trail, and there is a dedicated parking lot 🅿️, where you can park for the whole day for 10 yuan. There is a large loop and a small loop, with the large loop being about 15 km and the small loop being about 7.5 km. We took the small loop today. 🧗Difficulty and experience The small loop is not very steep, with most of the uphill sections being stone steps and most of the downhill sections being dirt paths. The flat sections are shaded paths, which give you a sense of tranquility. The vegetation is relatively dense, and although you won't be able to smell the pine trees, you will be able to enjoy the lush green scenery. There are also many wild fruits, and we saw many unripe loquats and cherries along the way. The 7.5 km loop is not difficult, and the last 2 km are paved, so children can complete it. We were accompanied by a 6th grade class and several young children, all of whom completed the route on their own. So if you just want to go hiking, the small loop is enough. ⚠️Tips Although the route is not long, you should still bring some supplies, such as water, Snickers, bread, or cookies. But don't bring too much. A short-sleeved shirt is enough for the hike these days. There are shops and restaurants at the foot of the mountain, so you don't have to worry about going hungry.
