Phuttiprang Pramote Temple

#tripflyingtoChina - Wat Phuttiprang Pramote was originally built around 2300 B.E. under the name Wat Bangchao Nuea. Later, the temple deteriorated until it was renovated and rebuilt in 2494 B.E. by Khunying Prang Pramote and Phraya Charoen Ratchamaitri, who had faith in building the ordination hall. The abbot therefore changed the name of the temple to "Wat Phuttiprang Pramote" after the name of the builder. - An important Buddha image named Luang Pho Khao is enshrined in the chapel next to the ordination hall.
