Later in 1940, the chapel was renovated by changing the gable pattern from a flower pattern to a wheel shape and pouring cement on the floor of the chapel instead of terracotta tiles. It is recorded on the gable that it was renovated by the Samakkhitham group (led by Field Marshal P. Phibunsongkhram). Later, during World War II, bombs were dropped on Rama VI Bridge, causing the chapel to crack. Therefore, it was renovated again in 1953. - Wat Pak Nam is another temple that is the place where Field Marshal P.
