HIDDEN GEM: Pha Song Ru Du, Chiang Mai

One side is covered with a sea of fog, while the other side is fogless, making the views clearly different.  • Phra Borommathat Khun Wang: On the top of the mountain is Phra Borommathat Khun Wang, which is a sacred place for worship, with a beautiful view of Doi Inthanon.  • Travel: Traveling up to Pha Song Ru Du requires a walk from the Khun Wang Royal Agricultural Research Center. It takes about 3 hours and is about 3-4 kilometers. As for walking up Pha Song Ru Du, the path is quite challenging. 🐻 • The walking path from the Khun Wang Royal Agricultural Research Center to Pha Song Ru Du is about 3-4 kilometers. • It takes about 2.5 - 3 hours, depending on fitness and weather conditions. • Most of the path is uphill and some parts are dirt roads. There are some steep and rough slopes. • You must prepare shoes suitable for hiking and enough water. • Not suitable for those who are not used to hiking up mountains or have health problems that prevent them from walking far. However, if you like nature, hiking, and want to experience beautiful views that are worth it, “Pha Song Ru Du” is a challenging but very beautiful route!
