Jiuzhaigou, breathtakingly beautiful

There's a reason why people say that once you've seen Jiuzhaigou, no other water can compare. Jiuzhaigou is beautiful, even better than I imagined. The scenery is truly stunning, and I have no regrets about coming here. Jiuzhaigou is located in Zhangzha Town, Jiuzhaigou County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It is named after the nine Tibetan villages in the valley. It is famous for its "six wonders": emerald lakes, layered waterfalls, colorful forests, snow-capped peaks, Tibetan culture, and blue ice. It is known as a "paradise on earth." Highlights • Five Flower Lake: The lake is colorful, and the sediments at the bottom and the surrounding scenery make the lake appear in various colors under the sunlight. • Nuorilang Waterfall: One of the widest waterfalls in China, over 300 meters wide, majestic and magnificent. • Long Lake: The highest and largest lake in Jiuzhaigou, with clear blue water and surrounded by snow-capped peaks. • Shuzheng Lakes: Composed of 214 lakes of various sizes, the scenery is spectacular, and you can stroll along the boardwalk to enjoy it. Opening hours • 04/01-11/09: 07:30-17:30. • 11/10-03/31: 08:30-17:00. Ticket policy • Children: Free for children under 6 years old or under 1.2 meters tall. • Seniors: Free for seniors over 65 years old; free for seniors aged 60-64 on non-holidays, half-price on holidays. • Students: Discount for full-time undergraduate and below students aged 7-22 with valid ID. Travel tips • Best time to visit: Each season has its own charm, but autumn (September to November) is the best time to visit, as the colorful forests and red leaves are most enchanting. • Transportation: You can take a plane or train to Chengdu, and then transfer to a long-distance bus or tourist line to Jiuzhaigou. • Accommodation: There are various accommodation options in Jiuzhaigou County, including hotels and homestays.
