Daegung Charcoal Grilled Ribs is located in Nohyeong-dong, Jeju City, about a 10-minute drive from Jeju Airport. It operates daily from 4 PM to 10 PM. The restaurant is about a 5-minute walk from the Grand Hyatt Jeju Hotel. If you're driving, you can park at the Nohyeong Jeongjon Public Parking Lot located behind Nohyeong Elementary School, which is close to the restaurant. The interior is clean and spacious, making it suitable for group gatherings or company dinners. Multiple air conditioners are installed, making it a comfortable place to visit even during the summer. The main menu features only two options: marinated ribs and fresh ribs. As shown in the photo, the prices are very affordable compared to other popular restaurants in Nohyeong, Jeju, allowing you to enjoy a hearty meat meal without breaking the bank. Side dishes include soybean paste stew, steamed eggs, bibim naengmyeon (spicy mixed cold noodles), and mul naengmyeon (cold noodles in broth). In addition to soju and beer, you can also order Jeju rice makgeolli and the recently launched Hallasan makgeolli to pair with your meal. We ordered the fresh ribs. When you place your order, the staff brings out various side dishes, including green onion salad, kimchi, bean sprouts, and radish strips. These can be grilled on the charcoal grill along with the meat and enjoyed wrapped in lettuce. Despite being charcoal-grilled, the meat was cooked perfectly without burning, allowing us to savor the authentic taste of the ribs.
