Beautiful stone bridge over the Arga River.

A journey to the Spanish Pyrenees - Navarre Autonomous Community This Romanesque bridge spans the Arga Riverbed and was built in the 11th century. It was constructed by Queen Doña Mayor, the wife of King Sancho III of Navarre, and is one of the symbols of the Camino de Santiago. When we visited, there were hardly any people around, making it very peaceful. You can take a stroll along the riverside and then head up to the historic center. Highly recommended for walking.
