Batu Caves

For first-time visitors to Kuala Lumpur, Batu Caves was a must see. We traveled there via the KTM from KL Sentral (although buses and Grab are affordable and convenient options too). The steps are impressively steep, but it is worth it to climb up and get inside the caves, which are cool and breezy, and see the colorful and ornate Hindu temples. We also saw a variety of animals around - roosters, hens, peacocks, and lots of monkeys! It was a great half-day trip from KL. #malaysia #kualalumpur #batucaves
