Malaysia is well-connected internationally through Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), the main entry point for most travelers. Budget travelers can also arrive via KLIA2, which serves airlines like AirAsia. For nature lovers, Batu Caves, with its vibrant Hindu temples and resident monkeys, is a must-see. • #penang : Known for its street art and culinary scene, George Town is a UNESCO World Heritage site, combining colonial architecture with a lively local culture. • #langkawi : A stunning tropical island famous for the Langkawi Sky Bridge and pristine beaches, perfect for a relaxing getaway. • #cameronhighland : Famous for tea plantations and cooler weather, ideal for scenic drives and nature hikes. Also, Malaysia is considered a food paradise: • #streetfood : In Kuala Lumpur, visit Jalan Alor for night market eats, from spicy satay to grilled stingray. In Penang, don’t miss famous local dishes like Char Kway Teow or Assam Laksa. • Fine dining: Try Dewakan in Kuala Lumpur, a Michelin-starred restaurant blending traditional ingredients with modern techniques. • Local favorites: Nasi Lemak is a must-try national dish, available at places like Village Park in Kuala Lumpur or Sri Nirwana Maju for banana leaf rice. And if you like shopping, this beautiful country offers great shopping experiences: • Luxury malls: In Kuala Lumpur, visit Pavilion KL and Suria KLCC for designer brands and global retailers. • Street markets: For something more local, head to Central Market or Petaling Street in Kuala Lumpur for souvenirs and handicrafts. • Duty-free: If visiting Langkawi, take advantage of its duty-free shopping on chocolates, alcohol, and perfumes. #100waysoftravel

Batu Caves

Batu Caves is a Hindu temple located 12 km north of Kuala Lumpur. It is dedicated to Lord Murugan, a Hindu deity. Lord Murugan is the son of Lord Shiva and Lord Uma, and the brother of Lord Ganesha. At the entrance to the Batu Caves is a statue of Lord Murugan, 42.7 meters high, standing out and impressing visitors. Completed in 2006, it is another interesting religious site, both as a place for religious ceremonies and as a tourist attraction, with many people visiting. The most interesting thing about Batu Caves is the large statue of a Hindu deity located near the entrance of the cave. If you climb the 272 steps, you will be able to see a clear view of the city and the beautiful skyline.
