Old world charm of Wat Arun

#thailandtrip As a tourist in Bangkok, one of the most to go places on the city is the famous and historic Wat Arun, located along the Chao Phraya river. The area is teeming with tourist, yes, but it is a great representation of the Thailand's historic past and religious architecture. As this is the third timer I'm visiting the place (all with different first time visitors) I did notice that the entrance fee went up from 100 baht to 200 baht, which is quite surprising. Outside of the temple, you can also rent traditional thai costume for a cute photoshoot! Getting here: Upon alighting BTS Saphan Taksin station, I suggest taking the blue flag boat for 30baht and it feels like a little tour of the Chao Phraya river too.
