Recently, I had an impromptu plan to see the sea, and I chose Yushan Island in Xiangshan, Ningbo. This is truly the most beautiful island I have ever seen! 🏝 🏖Journey: The island is quite remote, and the journey is indeed not very convenient. We took a high-speed train to Ninghai, then a bus. The Ninghai Passenger Transport Center is very close to the high-speed train station. I took the 12:30 bus, which only cost 30 yuan. After arriving at Shipu Port, we booked a hotel for the night to rest. Of course, you can also choose to take a taxi, but it will be more expensive. The fishing boat costs 500 yuan per person for a round trip. Remember to bring seasickness medicine because it takes three hours. Once the port is repaired, you can take a ferry. 🛏Accommodation and Dining: It is best to contact the homestay owner before going. They are really super considerate and can help arrange many things. Since the port is not yet repaired, they will help arrange fishing boat transfers. If you want to go sea fishing, diving, or find a camping site, you can ask them. They will also warmly entertain you for meals. We paid 380 yuan per person for accommodation and three meals a day. The place we stayed was simple but very clean. Xiangshan is indeed a wonderful place, with mountains and water. It was a delightful day spent basking in the sea breeze and enjoying the seafood. The aesthetic and service quality of Cipo are guaranteed. A few families rented a courtyard in this beautiful Qinglai village for three nights, making for a very leisurely mini-vacation. On the first day, we climbed the mountain along the small path next to the homestay and went to the northernmost camping site by the sea. The path was easy to walk, and two 3-4 year old children completed it independently. Although there was no beach by the sea, the children spent several hours throwing stones and catching crabs. The adults barbecued and chatted at this seaside campsite. We didn't bring our own food, but bought it together here. Since there was only one shop, the slightly expensive price was the only drawback. It would be more cost-effective to bring your own ingredients and just rent the tools. On the second day, we went to the nearby Fandong Mountain, which seemed to be a bit of a minor internet celebrity, and was slightly crowded. The highlight was the shy little sheep on the cliff. We didn't stay long and went to the beach at Songlan Mountain to dig in the sand. The sand was very fine, and the kids had so much fun they didn't want to leave. On a clear day, the sea is so blue it's intoxicating 🌊, and if you're lucky, you might even encounter the magical blue tears 💧! I finally fulfilled my dream of camping on the island and sea fishing before the high temperatures hit 🎣! 🚗 For transportation: I strongly recommend driving to Shipu Pier 🚗, taking a boat around nine in the morning, with the journey taking about 3 hours 🕙. For those who get seasick, remember to take motion sickness medicine in advance 💊, or choose a seat near the stern of the boat 😉. If you're taking a high-speed train, you'll need to transfer to a bus directly to Shipu at Ningbo Station 🚌.
