I was largely disappointed the hotel took my citibank credit card (HK) for the deposit and then I had the fraud unit block my card for suspicous activity. It was solved in the end but its concerning a big hotel like crowne plaza have such machines. I also nearly ended up paying 1,000 deposit over it. Overall the staff try hard but i feel logistics is an issue at the hotel. Another example kids spaghetti cost 38 rmb and the adult is 78. Its the same portion so may as well order 2 kids. Everything else is great and the family room i would reccomend. Staff are good but just needs more logistics.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly professional and polite, despite the large number of visitors during the busy 5.1 golden week. I was impressed by their efficiency and effectiveness in handling the crowds, always with a smile on their faces. The buffet breakfast was a highlight for me. The quality of the food was excellent, with a great variety and sufficient quantity. The staff at the breakfast area were diligent, polite, and attentive to details and our needs. The coffee was also top-notch. Overall, a big thank you to the staff for maintaining such high standards. Well done!

Friendly and helpful staff. We're surprised to have our room upgraded and we can enjoy a nice view from our room. This is our first time staying at this hotel and I'm sure we'll come back, thank you!

Lovely hotel, with great location, big room and very friendly staff. Will definitely recommend it to friends. The price is very fair, near the beach with some restaurants around.

Had a lovely stay. I originally wanted to stay for 1-2days, end up staying the whole trip here. Hotel staff were so nice and room was big and clean! Will come again next time :) Thank for hard work!

I was in Zhuhai as part of the Clipper23/24 Round the World Yacht Race. Hotel is in an excellent location, with helpful staff and really superb breakfasts. The room was great value (upgraded to a suite at no extra charge). The wifi is very poor and intermittent and (strangely) the bottles of gin and whisky in the bar are "only for display purposes". Oh well, beer it is then. Would definitely stay again if in Zhuhai.

Was upgraded to a king suite, which was rather nice. The room is beautiful. Spacious, comfortable, etc. Lovely bathroom, with bath/shower. Reasonable price, considering I've spent as much on worse hotels in HK recently. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My one gripe is the restaurant. I was at the hotel a fair bit due to online work, and would have happily have spent the whole day/evening there, but the food was far too focused on being 'impressive' rather than good. The decor of the restaurant is extremely dated similar to what was deemed 'traditional China' from 20 years ago, which doesn't lend itself to a comfortable eating experience. Would love to have been able to get a steak, or some more commonplace Chinese cuisine, but all the options were too 'arty' without much substance. No reasonable wine list, which was disappointing. Expensive wines with no reputations, and the options in beers was extremely limited. My one real disappointment with the hotel. The swimming pool is outside, with no shelter so the Zhuhai sun is beating down on the swimming area. No real setup for relaxing by the pool, and the pool itself is rather small. Well-maintained but it doesn't really match the photos here. Good photography I guess. However, the hotel itself is lovely. Will definitely stay there again.
