"This inn is located inside the ancient town scenic area. When you check in, you can ask the owner to help you buy discounted tickets for the ancient town and arrange pick-up/drop-off services. The inn is right by Bailong Bridge, in the heart of the ancient town, with plenty of food options and great spots for travel photography nearby. The owner is incredibly welcoming and offers meticulous service. The front desk often has complimentary fruits like watermelon for guests to enjoy. The environment is lovely, and the service is excellent. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel is located in Zhuangyuan Mansion in the scenic area, which is a tourist attraction. The environment is very good and the surrounding supporting facilities are complete. It takes ten minutes to walk to the hotel after parking outside. The service is very thoughtful, sanitary and safe. Due to the renovation of the old house, the sound insulation effect is not very good, and it will affect the rest if you encounter unspeakable tourists."

"The proprietress was wonderful, always going above and beyond to think of our needs. The place was very clean, and the surrounding greenery and views were delightful. The inn is conveniently located near Dongdaemun, being the second building right after the entrance, which made it super easy to find. Highly recommend!"

"The room is small, neat and clean, making it comfortable for one person to live there. The location is very good, close to the ancient stage. When you enter the scenic area, you will see the dragon-clawed banyan tree and Kongzhigu. After passing through the gatehouse, you will see the inn. It is also not far from other core attractions."

"A superb experience staying at this hotel. We extended our stay after the first day, and would definitely come back again. Location wise, if you are visiting the old town, then it is definitely the perfect spot to stay! The scenic bridge is just a corner away. It is also just 1 min walk from one of the entrances/gates of the old town(景區). What I like the most is the whole design of the hotel. It is a perfect combination of ancient and modern architecture and design. The whole place is very stylish and there are a lot of fine details like the plants and artwork arrangement. I love the tea table right at the main door, it’s made by stone and wood. There are a lot of common area in which you can either chat and enjoy tea with friends or simply read alone with a nice coffee. They have a nice rooftop with a good view of the old town. You can enjoy sunset here. Food is perfect here. They have their own chef so you don’t need to eat out, the tofu and soup are very nice, and the seasonal veg is also our pick. Most importantly it is a pets friendly place. They have 2 dogs named 向右 “Xiang you” and 將軍 “General”, they are friendly and cute. They also have a cat room accommodating over 10 cats. All are friendly and lovely. Perfect place for vacation. We look forward to our next time here at 龙麟台❤️"

"The hotel is in a good location, about 100 meters from the South Gate Tower. The environment is okay, but parking is not free. They said there was a special price of 20 yuan a day. The room smelled very bad. I booked it for the non-smoking option. As soon as I entered, the smell of smoke was very strong. When I took a shower, I found underwear left by the previous customer on the shelf. I didn't dare to use the things on the shelf. The TV had no signal, the mirror was not designed properly and could not be turned off. At night, the blue light was on and I had to use something to block it out. It was super noisy at night. I went to bed at 12 o'clock and there were sounds of knocking on the door and people walking by. I couldn't sleep at all."

Huangyao Ancient Town Bugu Homestay ★★

"We were extremely satisfied with this guesthouse! It truly made our family feel right at home! A good guesthouse elevates the entire trip's happiness! Grateful to have found it! Highly recommended! Bugu has its own parking space at the South Gate of Huangyao Ancient City. The owner arranged for us to park, and it was only about a 100-meter walk to the guesthouse, very convenient. The owner even brought out her campervan to help with our luggage, and her three-year-old dog, Chuyi, also came out to greet us – such thoughtful and attentive service! The owner's service was also incredibly considerate. Every morning she would get up early to make sandwiches, and we would enjoy her homemade sandwiches, milk coffee, freshly ground pumpkin juice, freshly ground corn juice, and a bowl of fresh, sweet mixed fruit for each of us every morning at the rooftop restaurant! Everything was super fresh and delicious. We stayed for three days and were full of energy for our trip every day. Enjoying delicious breakfasts in the brightly lit rooftop restaurant made every day a truly enjoyable experience! One thing to note is that the Star and Moon room is located on a slightly older floor, while the other two tatami rooms are in a newly renovated building. The two tatami rooms with the character "光" (light) on them are more recommended, as they are slightly larger. Wishing Bugu B&B great success! Grateful for the experience!"
