The inn is right by Bailong Bridge, in the heart of the ancient town, with plenty of food options and great spots for travel photography nearby. The owner is incredibly welcoming and offers meticulous service. The front desk often has complimentary fruits like watermelon for guests to enjoy. The environment is lovely, and the service is excellent. Highly recommended!"

"A superb experience staying at this hotel. We extended our stay after the first day, and would definitely come back again. Location wise, if you are visiting the old town, then it is definitely the perfect spot to stay! The scenic bridge is just a corner away. It is also just 1 min walk from one of the entrances/gates of the old town(景區). What I like the most is the whole design of the hotel. It is a perfect combination of ancient and modern architecture and design. The whole place is very stylish and there are a lot of fine details like the plants and artwork arrangement. I love the tea table right at the main door, it’s made by stone and wood. There are a lot of common area in which you can either chat and enjoy tea with friends or simply read alone with a nice coffee. They have a nice rooftop with a good view of the old town. You can enjoy sunset here. Food is perfect here. They have their own chef so you don’t need to eat out, the tofu and soup are very nice, and the seasonal veg is also our pick. Most importantly it is a pets friendly place. They have 2 dogs named 向右 “Xiang you” and 將軍 “General”, they are friendly and cute. They also have a cat room accommodating over 10 cats. All are friendly and lovely. Perfect place for vacation. We look forward to our next time here at 龙麟台❤️"

"Huangyao is a place I have always wanted to go. Although it is several years late, I finally have time to go there. Deyun Villa has a grand name, simple decoration, good service attitude of the boss, large room, and a small balcony that I like. It's a pity that the weather is too cold, otherwise it would be a pleasure to sit and drink a cup of tea. The best thing is that the location is excellent, very close to the entrance of the ancient town, and the famous Dailong Bridge is at the turn. There are many attractions and snacks nearby. It is worth recommending"

"We arrived at 3pm. The single room without window we booked was fully booked so we were replaced with a standard room with window. Breakfast is not included in the room rate, but the boss is very nice and let us eat directly at the breakfast stall in town. I tried black bean powder, water chestnut powder, fried fish, and homemade porridge, and they all tasted pretty good. The owner of the store also invited me to have dinner with her (we had already eaten in the ancient town so we didn’t go back). The room is relatively new and very clean. The basic facilities are quite complete. There is no drinking water or cups (disposable cups can be found at the front desk). It is located about 100 m near the east gate of the ancient town, and the entrance is not far down the stairs. The price during the May Day holiday will be more than 100 points higher than the daily price."

"The host provided excellent service. Before entering the main gate, I called to inform them not to enter the parking lot from the front entrance, as it was too far and not their private parking lot, requiring payment. We parked in their designated parking lot, as it was still early and free access wasn't available until 10 PM. So, we strolled around the food street outside. At 10 PM, we contacted the host to pick us up. The hostess was very kind and even helped carry our two large suitcases inside. The path was difficult, so it was quite a walk, but thankfully not too far! The host also thoughtfully showed us how to push the beds together for the child's convenience. They were very kind in providing towels, slippers, and water when we asked. We booked two nights, and the host carefully advised us not to leave the border area, otherwise we would need to buy tickets to re-enter, or stay after 10 PM. We spent both nights within the border area and basically saw everything. On the day we left, the hostess even kindly helped carry our luggage to the roadside. A truly wonderful host! The room was a bit small, but for the price, it was excellent value. The small window in the bathroom offered a beautiful view, highly recommended!"

"Y mom and I really enjoyed our stay here. The woman running the guesthouse was very kind and upgraded us to a larger room with a western toilet (important for us foreigners). She also arranged a shared taxi for us to the high speed train station. The location is very central right in the heart of the ancient city. The air-conditioning worked well and the shower had hot water and good pressure."
