Overall, I don’t recommend this place. It’s completely different from the pictures. The receptionist asked for an extra 40 yuan for a room with AC. We knew that every room was supposed to have AC, but he claimed the room we booked didn’t have it and even pretended it was broken. We were too tired to argue and didn’t want to ruin our mood, so we paid. He also offered an airport drop-off, which we later found out was already included in the service. I suspect the 40 yuan was actually for the drop-off. As for the room itself, it was okay, the bed was extremely firm, and the AC worked fine. However, it wasn’t the most peaceful stay, as people were screaming in the alleyway during the night.

Basic place, basic review. Good: Close to airport. Bad: No hot water.

The room wasn’t really clean as there was garbage from the previous guest in a drawer. The toilet’s smell was a bit overbearing, and the person receiving new guest was not exactly welcoming.

It's a run down old establishment. The low price says it all. I recommend you remove if from your list. Unsuitable for foreigners.

I purposely booked this hotel for an overnight stay in Xiamen for my next flight the following morning, thinking that airport pickup and drop off are available. But when I arrived in Xiamen, the hotel said that I did not qualify for such service because of the kind of room I had booked. They should have stated this clearly from the outset, and not expect the traveler to read the "fine print" in their policies. At least, state clearly "airport services only for this so-and-so rooms booked." With a location very close to Terminal 3 of Xiamen Airport, this hotel could have been a very warm and welcoming place for travelers, like the other airport hotels I had stayed in. They could have offered the airport service as their top service, since there is actually nothing in the hotel itself that can attract guests—the hotel is hidden in a back alley, which even the locals in the area are not aware of, the rooms look old and neglected, the towels in the bathroom are crumpled, and even the glasses are full of water, as if others had used them before. One time is enough, so the next time I come to Xiamen, I'll be sure to look for a better place.

Near airport so no complaints. Took a DiDi cos it's damn affordable. Bus is even more affordable but have to walk slightly further. Either free pickup or drop off only. I choose drop off cos I had a early morning flight. Anyway there was a sign saying no drop offs after 8am. Dunno why. I reached early and the corridor was like a battlefield, linens all over the floor. At least it showed they really changed the linens in every room. My room has this frosted window pane and another clear transparent pane on top just outside the toilet. There were no curtains at the window but there is one nearer the bed so I suggest not walking naked from the bed to the toilet. Receptionist/?boss/driver is the same man. I'm not too sure if I should complain that he was without a smile throughout my check-in process. Oh and no elevator, for those carrying luggage. The reception is on the 2nd floor. But lots of nice food in the vicinity!

5 mins drive from GaoQi airport, strategic location for a night. You get what you paid.

The location was very good, a little bit difficult to find it and to check in but it is possible. Expect no English speaking so be ready with the translator! The reality doesn’t look as the pictures but for a night or two was ok.

As soon as we got off the plane, we called the hotel and asked them to pick us up. There were six of us in total. The boss drove a five-seater car and asked us if we wanted to squeeze together. We were dumbfounded. The hotel bathroom is very very small. I don't know how to take a shower. The toilet seat cover is loose and the wash basin has cracks. The hygiene level is so-so. There is no mineral water in the room. The boss has a sour face all the time. He just asked us if we want to upgrade and send us to the airport tomorrow. It only costs ¥10 per room, but the room is similar to what we booked, so we refused.  This hotel will become a no-trade next time.

It is close to the airport, with convenient transportation and many taxi options. But some of the room facilities are old, such as the wash basin is broken, the toilet and shower room are shared, which is not convenient

It took a very long time to check in and wasn't very friendly. The mattress was very, very hard.

I had an early flight at 6:30. This was my second booking. It was a cheap accommodation close to the airport. It was convenient to eat and drink nearby. There was a big supermarket and roadside stalls. The room I originally booked did not include airport transfer. I paid 20 RMB to upgrade the room to include airport transfer.
