Hotel Barbarossa Garni

Stayed one night at the Hotel Barbarossa. The location was very good. Close to the trainstation, city center and all the main sightseeings. The room itself was decent for three people to stay. There was even an airconditioner in the room, but it wasn't that hot a day, so we didn't need it this time. The hotel breakfast on the other hand was a disappointment. It was 14€/person and was not worth the price. We did get asked for coffee or black/green tea, which was nice. However, some of the food had gone sour. The spreads had mold growing in them, which made us to question the other foods as well. The boiled eggs were raw, even the egg whites were still running. The fruits were not fresh, for example the sliced pineapple had a weird taste in it. There was also an empty Nutella jar on the table and no replacement, even though we seemed to be the only guests eating breakfast. Once we complained, we received apologizies and got a refund for 1/3 of the breakfast price. We were also asked not to write a bad review if we were given the refund as such problems have happened before. I understand the person was just following instructions from the boss, but trying to buy us from writing bad reviews felt outrageous. To summarize: okay place to stay, but have your breakfast elsewhere.
